Samana, Loma De Puerto Escondido, Avenida La Marina #1 🧭 Map
The rooms and the hotel were very clean. All the employees were very friendly. ONE VERY PLUS WAS THE PRESIDENT BEERS were fro mte bottle.
The staff was very nice and helpful, Specially thr bartender (Mauricio) at the lobby bar. He was very knowledgeable of the drinks and recomended a restaurant in the town outside the resort.
Had initial issues with the rooms. They gave us a different room after that, everything was great.
The views from this hotel of the surrounding town and bay can not be matched! But the gem of this hotel are the wonderful staff! Friendly, attentive and hardworking to make a stay here worry free.
Had a great time. Room spotless & service impeccable. Food was average, but clean.
It's a paradise with a serene landscape. Excellent location and view, a must go. Outstanding service by the reception staff and the manager. Food was much better than any other place in the region
Room was clean but I didn’t get the balcony. They didn’t offer it to me and I did notice when I was leaving the hotel
I mean it was technically listed as a balcony room and we didn’t have one but I also didn’t pay any extra money for it. I was sooo glad to find an affordable hotel with hot water and A/C, and the staff were excellent
The only downfall is there is no coffee maker, they should add an extra desk for space. I was there for 11 days, I had to buy a kettle to make my instant coffee. Besides that room service people were super nice
They went above and beyond as I arrived early and they accommodated us with early check in was told go have breakfast and your room will be ready in an hour and it was . I would highly recommend.
Stayed here from December 31st - January 4, 2025. There is a restaurant next to it.
Parking is free and the attendants are helpful. Service is quick to respond to some issues.
The buffets were good, had themes and good variety. Some of the restaurants that didn't need reservations had long waits.
I enquired where we could get food and was told we had 15 mins before the restaurant closed !
The app was pretty good although does have some inconsistencies mainly locations are known differently on the app vs reality
Such a beautiful gorgeous and tropical place to enjoy with family and friends safe and fun.
Our 3rd time in this hotel and we don't have any reason to try another place
I did wish there was greater entertainment that didn’t include guest and something included for the kids to get them out of the sun… like a game room that was not for money
We stayed here for a week at the beginning of august. Great hotel in the centre of sosua. Water pressure in the shower is very good. Air con is strong and works very well. The queen size bed is very big and comfy
I had a very nice room next to the pool, A/C was very cold, the restaurant was good, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I'm definitely staying here again. See ya soon!!!!!!
New Garden is the best hotel in Sosua!!!! I’ve stayed at New Garden since last April of 2024 13 times. The hotel is clean close to both beaches and the Staff is the Best in Sosua
Friendly staff, good food in the restaurant. Central location only 10 mintues to the beach.
Everything was perfect the staff was outstanding and food is good
Security was always there being attentive and assisting with questions about everything! I will definitely be booking this hotel again!
Great value for money with the absolute best sunset views of the region. Comfortable and good apartments. The personal is very quick, helpful and helped us throughout our stay
The staff was extremely attentive and always making sure we were comfortable. The cocktails, appetizers, and restaurant food were all excellent and of very high quality
There's no beach (like no sand) but many swimming pools and direct access to the sea with clear water. Unfortunately the place doesn't have a gym which is really a shame. There is a spa available with massages only
Negative - this is not a hotel that has 24 concierge, no restaurants open after 9pm, I felt horrible because I booked it same day and staff had to come back and get us situated, (staff was awesome)
We truly enjoyed both the pool and the beach right in front of the club. Towels are provided, and there are lifeguards on duty, which made us feel very safe and well taken care of
The day pass includes your food and drink consumption inside the club, and if you go over the amount, you only pay the difference, which is very convenient
There are often high-end activities on the 7th floor, and beautiful women and handsome men gather. The large glass of the gym offers a panoramic view of the city. Unfortunately, the room rate does not include breakfast
My room was very clean and the staff were very kind. There is a rooftop restaurant, bar and swimming pool with some lounge chairs and You can look out the area since the hotel is one of the tallest buildings there
It was all good. The room was a good size. The hotel is beautiful, the rooftop pool amazing with an absolutely awesome view of the Monument. The rooftop bar great. Overall a great stay
The location seemed out of nowhere but I was able to uber to the nearby downtown to have brunch and also buy some local chocolate. Very close, only 5-10 mins away
The rooms were comfortable, nicely furnished, and quiet, which made it easy to relax after a long day. The staff was friendly and professional throughout my stay, from check-in to housekeeping
waking up to the view and seeing it illuminated at night was truly special and made my experience unforgettable. I highly recommend the AC Hotel Santiago to anyone visiting the city, whether for business or leisure
2 Night Family Trip to Zona Colonial
Pros:
Good location, close to everything
Pleasant check in lady. Cons:
Room has no window
Sheets poor quality but seemed clean
Beds are very small and not super comfy
A very good value close to el conde. Stairs only to upper floors. Rooms tend to be on smaller side with hot shower and cold A/C. Have stayed here before due to cost/value.
Great place great price awesome location. Excellent breakfast at a nearby restaurant.
The staff was very courteous and although small the room was very clean and the bed quite comfortable. The hotel floors were extremely clean and shining and the pictures created a nice ambiance
Rooms as advertised clean , well equipped . Location great you can walk to many stores and restaurants. Some less than 20 yards from door
Great hotel verypolite staff will definitely go back again.
Staff was very good very good service, breakfast portions were good; options not many but basic breakfast was good good and optional add ons - staff and service was always great
Upgraded to Superior delux room. Nice size room for all my bags. Femsle night managerr was excellent
4. Spotless in the lobby, steps, hallways, dining area
Staff was excellent 👌 very helpful if you love to party with the locals then its the perfect place to s tay
If you stain the towels, they are nice & you'll have to pay for them, they're not cheap. I didn't like it but they the manager was so nice i hasn't mad
Great location, great staff, the only issue i had was i spilled wine in my room and used the bath towel to clean it, don't do that, lol call
The room was spotless, the staff was amazingly friendly and helpful, and it was right on the beach. Overall an amazing place, super cozy.
Las Terrenas, Calle Francisco Alberto Caamaño Deñó 🧭 Map
Two bathrooms is always a plus!!!
And they bidet and Hot Water ( this is a serious plus) were excellent. The beds were comfortable as well. The location is impeccable, right on the playa bonita strip
Lovely hotel in first line of beach, with good food and very good service. Great value for money.
The place was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The property is excelente, just the shawer it’s too small
Toilet tissue and hand soap provided
Cons:
No paper towels or dish soap provided so you definitely have to purchase. Stove didnt really work great. Definitely buy water as you will only get a couple at check in
Sadly one soda was already open when we checked in. The fridge is a bit dated and rusted. There are pots and pans but not ideal for longer stays if you an on actually cooking. Just not enough to be functional
Barahona, Carrettera Barahona-Paraiso Juan Esteban km 10 🧭 Map
Very good service, good food, friendly staff
Beautiful view of the ocean, nice pool
Very good place. Excellent view. Good attention
The pizzas are very good, and some dishes were great, but we had a couple of disappointing meals
On our birding tour of the DR our group stayed here for two nights. My room was fairly small but comfortable with good AC. The bathroom was fine with hot water in both the sink and the shower
Simple hotel, nothing fancy, but the room was awesome.
Very clean.
The only inconvenient was a lady smoking in the breakfast area restaurant. I spoke to the owner, but apparentely it was normal
A hidden gem in the south west of the Dominican Republic. We felt right at home from the check in. Lovely place, very cozy, great food, nice pool. But the highlight is the view from the place
Clean. A/C works 100%... Only issue is that the main Club is right in front so be ready to club n dance to the music n noise till 2am.weekdays.
Whether you want to grab a bite, do some shopping, or just explore the neighborhood, everything is right around the corner. Overall, a great stay with a unique twist and plenty of space
We were a group of four and booked one of their apartment suites — it was incredibly spacious and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day out. The location was also a major plus
It’s close to a wide variety of restaurants and in an area full of amenities, shops, and dining options, which made everything super convenient
Highly recommend this hotel. Amenities, staff and uniqueness of this hotel will make it the ONLY place I stay in Las Terrenas !
I Stayed At The Property Two Times So Far And Everything Was Great I Planned To Revisit Again Soon
Hotel is beautiful, very clean and comfortable! You feel like you are in the paradise. Thstaff is excellent. I would recommend it!
No Balcony at my unit, but overall a good experience with a good value.
Great hotel right at the beach, and near all the good restaurants in Cabarete. The rooms are very spacious, for a double room we had 2 toilets! Everything is very clean and well kept
The views are unforgettable and breathtaking. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The area is secluded from the main street so it is safe and quiet. I would definitely come back here when I return
The best views in Cabarete. The hotel is right next to a supermarket which is very convenient. The staff is amazing, thank you Francisco, see you soon. This place is a hidden gem 10/10
Worth the upgrade to the oceanfront room. The property is so amazing. Close grocery store. Close to all of the beach activities and restaurants.
Great staff. Right on the beach. Good breakfasts and the restaurant is tasty overall.
Great location right on the beach! Room was comfortable and clean. And Anita, Lucila, and Marivel took great care of us each morning for breakfast.
Everything was great! Clean room, staff was amazing and very helpful
Nice location, breakfast was a joke. Staff is friendly but slow and limited. No hot water for your shower.
Service was great, friendly, and they answered any question I had as well as helped out with all of my requests, appreciate the help of the staff!
Parking was easy, across the street where the restaurant is located which is also where the beach is located, fairly convenient
Less than a 10 minute walk from the town and restaurants, one block away from a market/convenience shop. Overall, great and easy stay for the price paid!
Puerto Plata, Carretera Luperon complejo Km 4 Marapica 🧭 Map
Food from the buffet is 10/10, even better than the restaurants; good quality and variety
Pool had tile falling out, ac didn’t work in our suite, faucet was broken, phone didn’t work, needed help opening our safe… all requested multiple times and never fixed. Food was ok, Italian was really good
There was a lot of thought and effort that was put in for the guest to enjoy themselves. It seems to me that the resort takes good care of its employees and it shows. I would stay here again without hesitation
Let’s start off by saying entertainment team, beach and pool reserved restaurants are good! Now the rooms are humid do not drink the filtered water I got extremely sick as well as many others at the resort they gatekeep the water bottles and won’t provide it to you at all!!! Front desk is very stand off ish and rude the rooms have bugs buffet food nasty just overall wouldn’t go back again would go...
Drinks are ok for the price of the resort, there’s local rum and a wide variety of other alcohol brands you can choose from but if you want the best of the best, gotta pay extra for it (which is expected)
food everywhere and many many activities for adults and kids, staff was very nice had no problems my stay was great, loved that the balcony of the room had a place to hang clothes for after you get out the pool, would definitely visit again it was fun
- The apartment is beautifully renovated and very well equipped, and the garden with the pool is cozy and well maintained. - It was wonderfully quiet at night and the breakfast was excellent
The host was very nice and offered an excellent service. The place was very cozy and nice.
- Nikki, the owner, is a wonderful host, communication with her was perfect and she was very flexible when I had to change my flight. The transfer to and from the airport (approx. 20 minutes) was also perfectly organized
Unfortunately, I only stayed there for one night, but I can highly recommend this B&B, unless you want to be right in the center of Sosua
We are extremely pleased with the hospitality of the management, and the breakfast is absolutely delicious. Each day, they offer a different menu for just an additional $10
Love this place. Nikki and her staff could not be more welcoming. And the breakfast burritos have a special place in culinary heaven
Santo Domingo, corner of Conde Street, C. Espaillat 205, Zona Colonial 🧭 Map
As New Yorkers/Americans, strong Wi-Fi and good service are priorities, and this place actually delivers (not always guaranteed in the DR)
We felt very taken care of by the front desk staff and the housekeeping team — friendly, efficient, and genuinely helpful. Speak Spanish (or have your translator ready) — it makes everything easier
Yes, it’s an older building in a historic area, but what you get in return is huge: fresh breakfast included daily, personalized service, and a space that feels comfortable and cared for
Excellent service and staff. Clean and comfortable rooms with tasty welcome drinks and great breakfast options. Great location.
My partner and I really enjoyed the café connected to the lobby — great Wi-Fi, convenient service, and beautiful, healthy breakfast options
The bell-entry system might surprise some people, but there’s a 24-hour front desk and we always felt secure. Overall: great value, great Wi-Fi, and an excellent home base for exploring
Punta Cana, despues de la escuela la ceiba macao caja 7a 🧭 Map
I went to pick up a client as a tour company, and they offered me coffee. I was allowed to use their bathroom. I recommend it 101,102 times! The coffee was very good, and the bathroom was super clean and tidy
And we loved the little dogs! Overall, it's a great place (close to the beach) to not only get to know the country authentically, but also to meet good people and make new friends. I 100% recommend this special place
Everything is clean and beautiful, but the best thing about this place is the people! Angelica and her husband are incredibly kind, friendly, attentive, and very nice people
Little hidden Gem. Excelent staff, clean rooms and good location.
Great welcome and helpfulness from all the staff, small room with few pretensions but absolutely clean. We spent there only one night but we had a good time. We were able to leave the car for a day without any problem.
It was a great experience. The managers are very kind, and that makes us consider them as an option when we travel through the eastern region again.
The information/ communication needs to get better, if I’m coming to a new place I expect the employee that you see the most have basic information on what tours they offer, time, cost, or if you don’t want to talk, has brochures ready to handle to the new guest
Love the property very clean staff very friendly
Parking lot area and night security is constantly on his phone and the not pay attention and rude .
I asked questions in both Spanish and English and he was not personable.
We had a fabulous 2 nights stay! The room was spacious, well decorated beachie vibe, spacious balcony, updated throughout. The beach club was awesome with gorgeous amenities and the beach is stunning
The wifi is terrible and not to mention that the power goes out every night for a second. The tv doesn't work in any room you stay since i paid for three rooms this review is the same for all rooms
I like that is private, the beach is beautiful, but I didn’t like the limited food options, and that the bar close so early, if you go there in please be mindful that after 6:30pm there is nothing going on, unless is Saturday
I was invited to see one of the rooms and saw a place that I would love to stay in, spotless and inviting. Beautifully landscaped, excellent hosts, and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. I can only give a 5 star response
Perfect place to relax. Owners are really good. Really likable people. Close to Aserrado Beach. You can go walking. Not many people go. Beautiful place.
Andrea is a super host and rooms are very confortable.
Las Galeras is a great place to stay in The DR. There are many beautiful beaches and rivers accessible by car or boat. The area is peaceful with a small town feel. And 21 Palms is the best place to stay
Our room was spacious and air-conditioned with a working refrigerator and stove. The beds were comfortable, with room service provided daily. There are even fresh flowers and fruit for each room, a thoughtful extra touch
Few people come here, although we saw our share of horses and cattle strolling by. We often had the beach to ourselves. Our stay was peaceful, romantic, and relaxing, but we also had all of our needs met
Santiago, Calle Principal Al lado del acueducto, 41000 Santo Cerro, Dominican Republic 🧭 Map
You get a complete view from Santiago all the way to San Francisco de Macorís. They have a great chef, Carlos, who cooks like your Dominican grandmother. The only thing is be patient it takes time, but it’s so worth it
Very nice property excellent and I mean excellent staff and proprieters awesome views but besides the GEICO's on the ceiling and the electricy
Just an amazing place! A total gem. Nicholas is just a beautiful human being, total class. If you want luxury or high end this not the place, but the rooms are clean, nice and well equipped and kept
The beauty of this place is the natural beauty around the place. In addition, the staff is amazing, they feel and treat you like family and the atmosphere is like you are with family
Excellent place ,
To start owner her self revived us wen arrived , friendly and pleasant place , good breakfast , not a lot of choice for breakfast but wat they had was good , deftly I will be staying there again
The was the best experience i had at a hotel in Dominican Republic. I sent there just for 1 day to my fiancé gets off work and i ended up staying for 15 days
