The water near the hotel beach is restless, there is a lot of algae, although the staff carefully tries to get rid of them. Would recommend this hotel to everyone!

This resort was beautiful and had lots to do. Children are allowed, there’s a kids area and even a teen hang out. There are multiple pools and a beach

They each had a balcony, and really could have been great, but cleanliness could be greatly improved. I had to change rooms twice—first due to the AC not working, then because the balcony door wouldn’t lock

I wouldn’t consider this a party resort; it’s more geared toward families and low-key fun. Definitely check out the beach bar—John and Gerson are fantastic bartenders, very friendly and entertaining

Neither of those issues were my fault and it seem like a bother or hassle for them to swap my room. Overall, it’s a lovely resort with great amenities, and a relaxing atmosphere

Compared to other hotels, the price-performance ratio is quite good. Aside from the constant knocking on the door and the average breakfast, everything else is fine.

The bed is the most highly recommended feature. It's very soft, and lying in it feels like being enveloped in a blanket; I even fell asleep while wearing a face mask

The room is spacious, and the area near the entrance is very quiet. The environment is pleasant, and you can often hear birds chirping. We encountered a thunderstorm, but the sun came out again

The Jacuzzi in the room is also fantastic, a great way to unwind after a long day. The pool is nice too, but unfortunately I didn't have time to swim

The shows on the stage are super fun and the pool staff and games are awesome :) lisselotte was my favourite staff member! She is super fun and brings up the energy for everyone! The beach bar is fun at night and they have snack bar open if you need

Checked in to The Grand Paradise on Saturday and I absolutely love it here. It is beyond beautiful and the service at Cooee is amazing. Everyone here really goes the extra mile to make you happy, I never want leave.

Great part of the hotel. Nice employee and great atmosphere. Calm and relaxing holiday you will have for sure. And if you like business and entertainment you walk 2 min to the other pool and you can enjoy that

Rested for 2 weeks in November. The location of the hotel is good, a beautiful large beach. Several other hotels of the same chain are nearby. Hotel Riu Naiboa is quite old and needs updating

We're currently staying in the hotel and the price-quality ratio is good. Lots of variety in the food each day. And enough choices in beverages, within the all inclusive formula

The airco in our room couldn't make it less than 23-24°C and one of the lights in the bathroom didn't work. The minibar in the room is restocked every two days, which is good

The kitchen is good, there is a sufficient selection of dishes, even for picky tourists. There is also a water park shared by several hotels

We were there last February and loved it we did not encounter anything like some of the reviews say we were there for 2 weeks and it was perfect pool was always clean and I would give the food a 9 out of 10 great places

The rooms and facilities have a lot of room for improvement but you're here for Bacaro beach to enjoy the white sand, blue waters, and coastal climate. Rooms are decent but I didn't come here to lounge in the rooms

If you are looking for great beach, relaxed time and good ambiance, I’d recommend this hotel. My wife and I just wanted a place to relax and enjoy the sun this hotel has that for you!

We had an absolutely beautiful stay at Bahia Principe Grand Samaná. Our room (220) overlooked the bay, and with my binoculars — once I learned where to look — I could see whales breaching in the distance

Also girl at the front desk with the pretty head band that checked us in an out and her tall counterpart I believe his name was Fernando also the porter that took our stuff up, y Medina in the parking lot that help me find my phone I dropped in the driveway came back an hour later and he found it for me — you all made us feel welcomed and cared for

The service always came with a genuine smile and they go out of there way to get anything you ask for I know they're switching over but they need to keep these guys and give them a raise for treating their resort in a way that makes people want to come back and refer friends

Excellent resort- beautiful scenery and flowers. The staff at the Sunclub were excellent especially Julissa and Nichole. Elizabeth at the buffet great service and always knew what you needed

Nice resort; rooms, outdoor areas, and landscapes kept clean and looking good. Lady staff always working and cleaning in main bar bathroom (this I found impressive). Beach is nice, lots of high waves

The offer water bottles to brush your teeth which is nice for travelers with concerns of local tap water. The pool was amazing, excellent vibe and music. Very nice gym as well… they also have tennis courts available

Joaquin is such a nice person and makes a really good piña colada and I would like to shout out Castro, Pablo, Christian, Esnil, Margarita and Chef Kenny who's civiche is always fresh and delicious

The room was up to standard, very lady with pool view, not so much of an ocean view but still good views. The room did not have an iron and I called down and one was quickly brought up to the room

Breakfast didn't include bacon, and had only one type of ham and cheese. Small selection of vegetables and speciality dish, 1 type of fish and one type of meat. No cheese, ice cream or even pudding for dessert

I realize it is low season in Samana at this moment, but i had expected more from a Wyndham hotel. Further more, driving there, you can get lost, as there ar no signs or directions to follow

We expected a lot more for this hotel. Checking in, the receptionist was very friendly and so was the bellboy. The room was sober but clean and i have no comment on that

The best two parts of Royalton was our butler Amarlys she was so professional and accommodating and always started your morning with all “ good morning and I’m here if you need anything”

Secondly the entertainment team was amazing very friendly and knows how to put on a great show especially “ Mr. Chocolate “ Would totally recommend this resort for family vacation and absolutely will be coming back

Ernesto Felix, he was so helpful, informative and honest to my family and I. If I go back I’ll definitely request for him to be my butler again. Also the waterslides, shows and restaurants are thee best 10/10 ❤️

The staff was the key! Everyone here was so nice. The food was good and the grounds themselves were beautiful. The inclusive bar was a bit deceiving because there didn't seem to be much available but it was okay.

The gym had a trainer during the daytime which isn't common. We were curious about the membership pitch for the Elite Club, but the timing isn't right for us. No complaints from our 3 kids (2 teens and an 8 year old)

Our first trip to Dominica Republic and no regrets. Yuleidi is a service champion and her entertainment team is fantastic. Not a premium property, but not bad either. Walked for hours on the beach

Spent a lot of time in the water. Coconuts abundant along the beach. Brushed up on my dancing moves. I wish I knew about the deposit required to use the kayak etc on the beach beforehand

Good area and spacious rooms. Don’t connect your Dyson in the rooms because electricity will get into protection mode and A/C won’t work.

Nice hotel. Wouldn’t stay again. But it was nice. The restaurants and the bar on first floor are very elegant. The 3rd floor rooftop pool wraps around the building which is pretty cool.

The pool instead of being a quiet place where to relax it’s a disco with a DJ that blasts the music at very high volume. I asked to lower it a bit down

The people at the bar and the DJ rolled their eyes, lowered it for a minute and then they raised the volume once again

I didn’t try the breakfast as it had limited options. We ate out all through our stay and decided to eat our last dinner at the hotel restaurant! The food was excellent and I wish I had eaten more here

The decor is modern and bright and very clean. We dealt with two different front desk staff member Wil and P Salas. They were both very friendly and lovely. The room is minimal, but very clean

We had a king size with a view of the pool. The shower is one of the ones with no door, so if you don't like that you might be unhappy. But I loved it! I'd say the rooms are in between

The hotel environment is super good, right on the beach. The sea view is great, there is a restaurant on the fifth floor, and there is an open-air swimming pool, gym and restaurant on the seventh floor

Breakfast staff very friendly with a variety of items for breakfast. Germayonni , was an excellent hostess at breakfast. Rooms were excellent with a great view of the ocean

My wife and I recently stayed at the Sheraton Santo Domingo, located along the Malecón, and we had a very pleasant experience overall. The location is excellent—central to most tourist attractions in the city

La Ciudad Colonial is within walking distance, making it very convenient for shopping for souvenirs and exploring historic sites. There are also plenty of restaurants and casinos nearby, all easily accessible on foot

The street in front of the hotel can get quite busy, but that’s typical for such a densely populated city. Thankfully, the rooms are well insulated, and outside traffic noise did not disturb our stay

The cleaners to the gardeners were extremely polite and friendly. Would love to come back one day, but sadly we have an unofficial rule of always going somewhere different each time we travel

If this is your first time venturing to the Dominican Republic, hotel Catalonia is the perfect first stop. The island is absolutely stunning. Buffet food was consistently cold

Plenty of wildlife to enjoy in the nearby nature reserve and thankfully within the impeccably kept grounds too. I was amazed that I spotted 4 endemic species during my stay

At the reception everyone is friendly. Good hotel, cleaning in the room is not very good. Some problem with the light, it turns on by itself and prevents you from sleeping. Excellent breakfast!
