Best Hotels in Dominican

I went to pick up a client as a tour company, and they offered me coffee. I was allowed to use their bathroom. I recommend it 101,102 times! The coffee was very good, and the bathroom was super clean and tidy

And we loved the little dogs! Overall, it's a great place (close to the beach) to not only get to know the country authentically, but also to meet good people and make new friends. I 100% recommend this special place

Everything is clean and beautiful, but the best thing about this place is the people! Angelica and her husband are incredibly kind, friendly, attentive, and very nice people

Great welcome and helpfulness from all the staff, small room with few pretensions but absolutely clean. We spent there only one night but we had a good time. We were able to leave the car for a day without any problem.

It was a great experience. The managers are very kind, and that makes us consider them as an option when we travel through the eastern region again.

The information/ communication needs to get better, if I’m coming to a new place I expect the employee that you see the most have basic information on what tours they offer, time, cost, or if you don’t want to talk, has brochures ready to handle to the new guest

Parking lot area and night security is constantly on his phone and the not pay attention and rude . I asked questions in both Spanish and English and he was not personable.

We had a fabulous 2 nights stay! The room was spacious, well decorated beachie vibe, spacious balcony, updated throughout. The beach club was awesome with gorgeous amenities and the beach is stunning

The wifi is terrible and not to mention that the power goes out every night for a second. The tv doesn't work in any room you stay since i paid for three rooms this review is the same for all rooms

I like that is private, the beach is beautiful, but I didn’t like the limited food options, and that the bar close so early, if you go there in please be mindful that after 6:30pm there is nothing going on, unless is Saturday

I was invited to see one of the rooms and saw a place that I would love to stay in, spotless and inviting. Beautifully landscaped, excellent hosts, and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. I can only give a 5 star response

Las Galeras is a great place to stay in The DR. There are many beautiful beaches and rivers accessible by car or boat. The area is peaceful with a small town feel. And 21 Palms is the best place to stay

Our room was spacious and air-conditioned with a working refrigerator and stove. The beds were comfortable, with room service provided daily. There are even fresh flowers and fruit for each room, a thoughtful extra touch

Few people come here, although we saw our share of horses and cattle strolling by. We often had the beach to ourselves. Our stay was peaceful, romantic, and relaxing, but we also had all of our needs met

The good : The location is nice, the hotel is beautiful. The bad: The beach front of the hotel isn't much to write home about especially considering the dirty sun beds and the beach in general in front of the hotel

They arranged taxi services for us, and the housekeeping team was incredible—going above and beyond each day to keep our room spotless. There are lots of great restaurants and drinks just steps away

Another great stay at Hotel Atlantis! Our go to spot in Las Terranes. We always enjoy staying here. Staff is friendly. Rooms are clean. Hotel is right on Playa Bonita.

I had my retreat here and it was the best place on earth!! Staff is SOOOO friendly, Angelina was absolutely amazing, it is so peaceful, & the food was so fresh!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Las Galeras. Wonderful host, good breakfast and handy location, close to the beach and many restaurants.

There was only 1 lounge chair at the pool (an older one) and a few plastic chairs and small tables. It's only about a kilometer from the beach and is in a good location near great restaurants

The staff at the restaurant were all so polite & the food very good but dinner for 2 cost well over 6k pesos! 2 beers, 2 apps, 2 entrees, we didn't order anything fancy and paid NY prices

The rooms are beautifully appointed with flowers yet desperately need upgrades as the smell of mold is pungent despite their best efforts to mask it with sprays

Really enjoyed the quietness of the hotel. The breakfast has good options depending on your taste. The bedroom is quite large and the bed is comfortable. And the beach is less than 5min walk from the hotel

We loved the breakfast; you can choose between eggs or pancakes. It includes a fruit cocktail, natural juice, coffee, and bread. There are a wide variety of restaurants and spectacular beaches around Las Terrenas

Great experience! We were very pleased with our stay at Hotel La Tortuga. We were greeted with a delicious fruit juice. We arrived at the hotel at 2:00 p. , and they let us check in anyway

They also have gazebo space for yoga and group classes. Meals cooked by staff were great. Walking distance from the beach and other restaurants. Shoutout to Yakeuiris and Yokaira !!!

Michael, Braulio (the security), and the ladies make sure to take good care of you; I mentioned in passing that I didn’t sleep great because the pillows were too soft and the next day I had different pillows without me asking

Little gem The propert is very close to the beach, was very clean (one of the few dominican ones where the taps didn't have limescale), great air con, very nice garden and pool

With only seven thoughtfully decorated bungalows nestled around a lush tropical garden and refreshing pool, it feels more like staying with friends than at a hotel

The kitchen has all the utensils you will ever need. A minor downside is that the blinds don't close so you have no privacy when you are in kitchen/living area

The two guys at the reception were nice, offered good service. Also the staff at the restaurant during breakfast and the owner who is Venezuelan from Spanish descent were very kind

Maybe for those, like me who don't carry cash and pay contactless, they could put a machine/device or something at the reception or at the restaurant where you can just swipe your card to still give a tip which they can share amongst all employees on a monthly basis

You could choose between warm and cold drinks, I took fresh juice (tropical and watermelon), and also for the main course you had options (I recommend the veggie omelet, very tasty) and as dessert I took fruits which were fresh cut tropical fruits

This is the best place I have the pleasure to rent. The staff is amazing to say the least. The description of the apartment we rented under valued. 3A is very spacious and clean

The area is okay to walk around. There’s plenty tourists around. The beach is about 5 minutes walk. I wish I could stay more because the apartment felt like home but I had to continue my trip

The out door patio with 8 person hot is absolutely fabulous. And it actually has a hot water if you want It hot. All the kitchen utensils are uniform and proper

I had a great time at the apartment. It was clean and smells amazing. The kitchen had everything I needed to make a great meal. I actually saved a lot of money but making my own food there while I was visiting.

A few repairs were needed including replacement of sliding door wheels, slow bathroom sink drain, and lack of electrical outlets or side table next to the bed. Overall a good value for the money

The property is good and close to the beach. The rooms and apartments are fine. However, need to have a microwave and more utensils in the apartments with kitchennet

I didnt actually stayed here, but i went to visit a friend. The hotel looked nice. It looked like a small apartment with a terrace. If i go back to Boca Chica, i might stay there. Great price for the rooms!!!! 👏

Hot water heater In Our casita. Quiet after locals stopped riding the motorbikes. Breakfast was inexpensive and very good. Host is Italian and very pleasant

PROS:  The outdoor kitchen was well furnished, the beds were comfortable, the windows have mosquito screens, there were fans in both rooms and an AC between both the host was friendly, the garden outside is spacious and green, there is room for parking your car inside the garden, good internet and a nice communal area for sitting and chilling with friends

the housing is very comfy and welcoming but the real spectacle is the beautiful garden with the many butterflies🦋 thanks for everything!

We arrived in Santo Domingo without a reservation, so glad we chose to stay here. Located right in the action of the park with live music. Room was very modern and clean. Restaurant downstairs was good as well

Staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms we're what we expected. With the location comes the noise; especially weekends and at 7:30am with the leaf blowers. We expected that and so therefore had no problems with it

José Kilson from maintenance was incredibly kind and helpful, and the women in the kitchen—especially Rocío—were so sweet, ensuring my family and grandchild felt extremely special

Near to the hotel is beach with no waves, ideal for small kids. On the room there is LCD with Netflix. We enjoyed Dominican breakfast and omelette. Some staff does not speak English, but has a big afford to help

It's not your 4 or 5 star but it is inexpensive, you can bring who you want to your room, and there is security

Security is excellent. Food is very good. Staffs are very friendly. Location is on point. The safe is large, can fit a whole laptop, and it code (not key).

This hotel and restaurant is the best , The owner ,the staff , the security and even the housekeeping were amazing ,everyone including the wait staff and bartenders at the bar/restaurant went above and beyond to make me feel welcome , i had the best bday week ever at the Sosua inn hotel , My room was spotless and very comfortable with a pretty cool furnished balcony ,and just minutes from 2 beaches

The rooms an amazing for a 3rd world country and they have very hot consistent water. Room service is great they even do you laundry for a small fee. The food downstairs is actually good unlike the all inclusive hotels

I've been to Sosua before but this was my first stay at this hotel. The location is perfect; halfway between the night life and playa de Sosua. The adjacent restaurant and bank right across the street are very convenient

There are 4 bars on the beach, so many options for drinks and food. In resort territory there are 5 restaurants but better options if walkin the town. I can recommend Trebol restaurant

Feels lime after renovation! Both room and decor was fresh and brand new. Pool view is amazing! Beach is just few steps and they show you personal umbrella and loungers

There was no facility to put soap or shampoo in the bathroom, the battery in the TV remote control ended its life and emitted acid, the sink's tap in the bathroom was out of order, it was stuck on very hot water, without pissibility to adjust the temperature of the water

Big apartment but empty with some rooms that are not even finished. Comfortable beds. Big kitchen but not even a single tea or coffee bag. Lot of noise from the outside and some windows cant be closed fully.

If you are looking for real Dominican Republic atmosphere with friendly people, this Hostel would be good for you, very friendly staff in Hotel, they doing their best, tasty, tasty breakfast, Little bit problem with booking and expectations room could be different from , which you are booked and the price little little different too , but in general good

The hotel needs a complete restoration. Do not expect a spa, or Jacuzzi. It's only a quiet place to sleep in for a couple of days, and go outside after breakfast. They need to redecorate the place

I was expecting a good breakfast, and had it. I would like the place to be upgraded with kind of decor and the breakfast area to be rebuilt better

The room was very nice, a good breakfast included, a little expensive, drinking water would be appreciated and some ice. Personnel is friendly and helpful, although recommended their own services like taxi and restaurant

René was a great host. Very friendly and helpful. His food is very good and he cooks himself (I don't eat fish, but his fish was amazing!) It was nice spending some time here.

Friendly, helpful & attentive staff, excellent breakfast, spacious rooms that were very clean. Making drinking water easily accessible on every floor was appreciated. It's in walking distance to a beautiful beach

The only down sides were that the beds were not great. One was quite hard but acceptable, the other was sagging severely & would have lead to a backache if we had to use it

Absolutely Incredible All-Inclusive Experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This was hands down one of the best vacations I’ve ever had! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations

Planning ahead for transportation would be a good idea. That said, everything else about this place was absolutely amazing

A small heads-up: the hotel is a bit far from the airport and the city center. We had a rental car, so it wasn't an issue for us, but I didn’t see a shuttle service offered, which could be inconvenient for some guests

Although shows were great it would’ve been nice to have all kind of music so everybody could dance especially on Valentine’s Day. Overall definitely a place to visit

I would not consider this an English-friendly resort. Most workers do not know any English, this includes service staff and even security officers. This made ordering, checking in, and generally asking for help difficult

This place exceeded our expectations. Iberostar resorts in the past 7 years and all were fantastic. Excellent value for your money. Great selection of food and drinks. Room cleaning service was very good

We have a terrace room, and the lounger is one of the best spots to relax with a bit of privacy. The pools and grounds are very well kept

Being able to also use the Iberostar Waves Dominicana (Iberostar's other resort) made this vacation even better. It was nice being able to use their facility as well (pools, bars, restaurants, nightly entertainment, etc

The food is incredibly delicious and service has been great (for the most part - minibar sometimes not stocked without having to call, and face washcloths are hard to come by)
