To make matters worse, next morning breakfast was insufficient for the number of guests, and it appeared they were serving leftovers from the previous day’s event

Beautiful, yes, but disappointing service, with much left to be desired

The bartenders are especially kind and amiable, and I have to highlight the bar manager and Eric, who is not only incredibly attentive but also so funny and genuine—they always make us feel like family

The complex is enormous and you will definitely need a golf cart to get around which is costly per day but worth it! They were super helpful in getting everything I needed planned for my 40th

Very good food, great pools and good restaurants, especially at the Cofresi and Tropical Beach resorts. The resort condominium is very beautiful and well maintained

Totally different than Punta Cana. This has a way more Dominican vibe, more music, more local people on vacation, and an excellent array of food and beverages

The overall experience was great! Friendly and very professional staff; good food and nice pools. The only downside is that the rooms are not that modern and could use a remodel, but besides that, it was great.

My recommendation is to stay at the Confresi Palm with the larger rooms that have a jacuzzi inside and then get the Black Vip Band for access to everything at the resort

Often the chairs were occupied by other people's beach towels and not available to me. I find that there are too many beds in this area and no chaise lounge chairs. The VIP staff were polite and attentive

A bit of a long wait at the snack bar so we went there when we needed a sun break. The chicken and burgers were awesome. Anne Marie in the buffet was always there to greet us in the morning with a big smile for breakfast

Monkey and Skinny are the best. Constantly making you laugh and doing funny gestures. The beer tasted good except for the one keg was skunky. I think it was in the sun too long. Bartenders and drinks were awesome

From the moment we arrived it was great, the front desk very friendly, accommodating and helpful, our room wasn't ready when we arrived but shortly afterwards we were escorted to our room with our luggage, the room was beautiful, clean and air conditioning worked well but there was a bit of a musty smell, it was on the 1st floor which we requested but I quickly decided that I wanted to be in another...

The pizza shop was excellent to and the icecream shop super yummy 😋 over all I would definitely recommend this resort, we're enjoying the last 5 days we've been here and look forward to the next 5 we are spending here until it'ime to go home

We ended up in a closer to everything room that was as nice but without the musty smell. We are enjoying it and it's belcony very much. The entertainment is very good, lot's to do here in and out of the rain

We've spent time in the sport's bar, lobby, outside of the sport's bar, the drinks are good everywhere, the Beach snack bar is close to the beach which is very convenient and there are also bathrooms there

Our hardest decisions each day were what great dish we wanted to try at the various restaurants, what bottle of wine should we choose that the somm recommended and if we went to the beach chairs or pool chairs :) It was also out first time in the DR and we highly recommend

We had the best 3 days at the Eden Roc Cap Cana. Incredible hotel, service, beach, pool, food- amazing experience and will definitely be back! Our concierges Miguel and Braulio were incredible and went above and beyond

We ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Blue and it was all amazing! Highly recommend also ordering the beach snacks, was so great to have kosher food on the beach

Miguel helped my husband arrange an amazing 30th birthday surprise with couples massage and an amazing private dinner on the beach with a violinist

My husband is a golfer and he golfed at the course there and it was incredible!! I took a aeroyoga class with Allan which was amazing and such a fun experience

It was so fun having the golf cart to drive around cap cana, we stayed in the villa with a private pool which was incredible! The villa itself is a little dated in style but really beautiful and clean and so private, we loved it

Golfers would especially like this place because it is right along the green around hiles 7 and 8, I believe

Beautiful location on the beach and golf course. Rooms are old and vastly different from new condos there. But it's still a good hotel for the price. The restaurant and all staff are excellent, great food and service

The staff are very friendly and helpful! This hotel is older so one should expect to find an older pool, older sliding doors and bath tubs etc

We give Blue Jack Tar a very good rating. It will be excellent in a year (March 2026) when the construction, which we did hear from our room, is finished. Mostly it's paradise, the beach, the pool, the surrounding area

We recently spent a luxurious week at Tortuga Bay Puntacana resort. It was magical! The grounds were stunning and impeccably maintained, the accommodations were amazing. spacious, immaculately clean and very comfortable

The property is beautiful and perfectly kept, our accommodations were spacious, beautifully decorated, comfortable and clean, the food is fresh, of high quality and delicious! The service was understated but incredible - not in your face but it felt like our wish was their demand

We went there Dec 2024 and forgot to post a review. Here i am to do it now- we had a wonderful experience. Food was delicious in the buffet and in the specialty restaurants as well

It was my birthday after 3 weeks of our visit and they still decorated our room door with happy birthday banner and surprised us with a cake, which was really nice of them

However, the swimming pool is very beautiful, and the hamburgers made by the restaurant in the swimming pool are also very delicious. If you bring children, I don't recommend staying here

It was surprising that once I reached "our room" there was clothes and other items that apparently belong to someone else. After another 25 minutes, we finally got to another room; it was clean and it had a nice view

In the morning we went for breakfast; the hot food was hot and the cold was cold, great and fresh! Due to Covid-19 the staff actually serve you whatever you want to eat, good strict protocols

Objectively speaking, I don't recommend it. There is a ** downstairs, which is quite noisy. There is indeed no hot water for bathing, and the facilities are relatively old

We were a group of nine, with five kids. Everybody could find food to their liking every meal. Great variety

Visited this resort in September 2025, not bad overall, but a lot of things to improve especially in comparison with the others Iberostar selection resorts

Thee property was beautifull, rooms nice and spacious. There was not much beach area and very crowded, pools were in much need of update on tile & plaster.

This was our second stay at the Iberostar Selection Hacienda Dominicus, and it was just as magical as the first! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service that made us feel right at home

The best hotel with thr most beautiful beach! Have been here 4 times and plan to return. Manuel and Carlos at the prestige bar on the beach make each stay even better! Incredible service and quality of drinks and food.

A fantastic hotel and very reasonably priced, we opted for the bed and breakfast option as we prefer to venture out and explore the local areas, but you could also opt for the all inclusive option should you wish to do so, the swimming pool area is clean with lots of seating areas and sunloungers, the pool has a shallow end and a deep end so it's good for children and adults alike, the staff are friendly...

What a lovely place, filled with beautiful gardens and refreshingly clean air! This gets my highest recommendation - I'm thoroughly invested in spreading the word

Upon arrival, we were told that the rooftop pool is not included and actually belongs to another hotel, which felt very misleading. The listing states “all inclusive,” but this was not fully accurate

The bathroom had a strong unpleasant smell, cocktails were served in plastic cups that did not seem properly washed, and sunbeds were all “reserved” from 5:00 AM, making it impossible to use them

We specifically booked this hotel for one night because of the rooftop pool shown as the main photo online. It was the primary reason for choosing this property

Non stop free drinks, 3 pools, kid friendly and access to the beach, with another all inclusive bar ( except for bottles) Wifi can be a bit wonky ( in and out), but overall, a great stay at a great price

Only warning (outside the hotel). the sidewalks outside the area are very cracked and uneven and some areas' lights aren't always on, so use caution when walking around and exploring the neighborhood

this was a last-minute decision, the property was very nice, my family was very happy with the room. the private patio and pool/jacuzzi were excellent

It's definitely quality over quantity, there's not a huge variety, but everything was delicious! There were just a few things that could have made our stay better, but nothing that would prevent us coming back

We did that and it was awesome, we especially enjoyed the quiet beach to the right,but they both were nice. I've stayed at a few all inclusive resorts and this was the best food we've eaten

A drink menu at the bar would be nice,especially for travelers like me that mostly drink on vacation. I never know what to order and it's helpful if the bartender can recommend something

We were on the 3rd floor and the elevator wasn't working, so if you have mobility issues,its probably best to request a ground floor room

We definitely got our exercise while we were there :) Also, our room was set up a little oddly. The main area, by table and chairs had the big bed in it and the day bed was in the room that had a door

There are tours (monkey adventure was amazing) that can pick you up, and Margot's restaurant is just up the road and has fantastic food! It's an easy walk into town- and you'll be glad to stay here as there is no road noise (Sosua main road has some loud motors)

We really enjoyed our stay at TRS Turquesa. Some of the highlights were the ocean, the pools, and the service. The rooms were acceptable, but had some quirky features or needed minor maintenance

The Las Torres buffet was a really. The sit down à la carte restaurants were hit or miss. My two favorites were Kusko and Bhogali

Our Butler, Jean, and Steven at the building 58 pool bar, both provided extraordinary service, were polite, and always had a smile

Every restaurant was delicious and the service was wonderful. The pools were amazing and always very clean. The drinks were great everywhere we went and the bartenders were friendly and fun

As a recommendation to the resort, I recommend more lunch options and even some quick grab and go food locations. Helios needs to change up their morning buffet options. 95% of the items were there every day

Had booking issues due to language barrier. Breakfast included was not worth it. the food was very blah and inconsistent menu due to occupancy. Oh the music at the pool was very very loud

The bedroom was spacious, but was missing plug outlets. There is a hole on the wall for an outlet installation. The side lamps by the beds are missing outlets

Stayed there while on a mission trip. This is not a resort type of hotel. Good food, good rooms. It was everything that we needed.

One can plug your phone from the outlet behind the tv or the mini fridge in the room

My only suggestion will be make sure everything is working perfectly in the room before checking it I know things may happen but there are things that can be addressed before the guests check in

Very nice hotel. You pay for the view. The room was out dated and the pool was dirty but the views and tranquility is amazing. Not much to do in the area. Staff very friendly though.

The rooms are small but very clean. There wasn’t any hot water for the shower, but it didn’t bother me since the weather was hot outside. The place is also very quiet—perfect if you’re just looking to relax.

this place was amazing!!! it was our 37th Anniversary and this place was just right what we needed to get away from the city. the sound of the river was smoothing. loved this place even for 1 night.

My mid September 2025 stay was such a pleasant surprise. So often in some of these stays the water pressure and temps vary, the A/C falls short of spotty electric service. Hotel Alisei never disappointed

This is my 5th stay at Alisei, I just love how at home I fee. You have options of different sizes apartments that makes this place perfect for any occasion family or just romantic event

The room was spotless and the complementary breakfast was delicious. We had a concern with a bathroom balcony door that was addressed within 15 min of the management being informed.

The property was nestled steps from the beach on a narrow road. The staff was pleasant, the breakfast was delicious and the room was decent. I would definitely stay again.
