Not only that, we had to pay additional fees to meet at the other resort instead of the hotels helping us get together or even change our hotel to the other since they’re both owned by Hyatt it was a bit of a pain and extra expenses that none of us planned on

The people working at the hotel are all friendly and eager to serve. We enjoyed the chocolate that Marta Dino made for us every night, as well as Orquidea's attention to detail when cleaning our room

We just returned from an incredible week at Dreams La Romana Resort & Spa in the Dominican Republic, and we’re already talking about going back! We travelled from Canada and stayed in the Preferred Club — it was absolutely worth it

The waterpark was a huge hit for our kids — and honestly, we loved it just as much. It added such a fun extra element to the trip. We also felt completely safe the entire time we were on the resort

Amazing service! The staff at Dreams has been trained so well. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and incredibly well maintained. Great amenities! We would love to come back!

The entire resort is spotless and beautifully maintained. You can tell they take pride in keeping everything looking perfect. The staff were amazing — so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely kind

Other than that, most staff were very friendly, as a woman i noticed I was treated poorly by some women staff while my husband had no issues at all

It's nice to be able to get pizza and have hot sandwiches made fresh pressed poolside over at the other Catalonia

Absolutely amazing high recommend it had everything you needed right on the resort without a doubt I will be returning back

Final Thoughts: The staff made this trip unforgettable—from the warm greetings at the entrance to the attentive service at reception, housekeeping, pool bar, coffee shop, and restaurants

Pool & Entertainment: The pool area was lively, featuring a swim-up bar and daily entertainment. If you want a shaded spot, go early and reserve it with your belongings

Dining: Buffet options were somewhat limited, with a heavy focus on pork and fish. If you don’t eat pork, your choices may feel restricted, and steak or other meat dishes were rare. That said, the food was tasty overall

We arrived late in evening, staff is limited but we were able to get our room quickly. At the start, we received room on first floor and was very nice, renovated and clean but a few cockroach in our room

He helped arrange transportation and was always checking in to see if we needed anything. Luisito also had a fun little greeting he would do when he saw us a cheerful “cucú!” which always made us smile

We truly appreciated his care and attention during that time. We felt comfortable every single day because of him. We can wholeheartedly recommend Jose Luis Rodrigue — he does his job with so much care and kindness

He always made sure our room was perfectly clean and tidy, and he did his work absolutely spotless every single day. He was especially wonderful with our children — always friendly, warm, and playful

It became something we looked forward to hearing when we saw him travelling around the resort in his cart. Staff like Luisito really make a vacation memorable. Thank you for a great experience!

They are friendly and will back off, but there are many. They all have shirts with numbers. The city tour was a lot of fun 😁 All in all, a great holiday and will likely return

The resort is a pretty quick ride from the airport which was nice. The staff and service we received was excellent and very friendly. The nightly shows are well produced and were a lot of fun to go watch

Really enjoyed our stay with the Marien. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The buffet had many great choices which changed daily. The room was kept clean daily

We stayed here for 7 days for our honeymoon. The location is amazing - being only 20 minutes from the airport. We received amazing service, especially from Roberto, the drinks were nice and strong

The food is nothing fancy, but as long as you go early, there are lots of options. We booked spa couple massages twice (at the start and the end of our trip), and the entire spa staff was incredible

The shows every night were also great. Our housekeeper Grisselda was also fabulous. Our room was impeccable every afternoon when we returned

Good stay if on a budget & want to get away, service was friendly, sometimes a bit slow; room was clean upon arrival but during our stay it could have been better stocked in the bathroom, grounds, pool, and beach all very clean; bar staff below La Mexicana were Espectacular( Manuela & José (?); he’s been there 10years!) Main buffet was good- you must make a dinner reservation for all other restaurants...

Beach is perfect pools are great. Bathrooms could use updating but room was perfect for 2 friends. Buffet needs help was not a fan very little flavor but you can survive. restaurants are amazing we went to 4

The hotel is more on the older side however they do a good job to maintain the the grounds clean and offer great amenities like towels, entertainment and food. The restrooms need a little more attention

All of the pools were awesome. They need to lend out Different kinds of floats or let visitors know before they get there that they have to bring their own

Pool and beach are beautiful, and rooms are clean. Only negative is it’s very hard and almost impossible to get restaurant reservations

The grounds, beach, and pools were well maintained and beautiful. Food was good and alot of variety at the buffet

They really have the patience of saints! They made the pool bars fun and made excellent drinks! Kelvin at the bar in the theater was THE SWEETEST! He was very friendly, had the best smile and always had our drinks ready for us

King size bed, 2 bathrooms, stand up tub, separate shower, 2 TVs. crazy! We also had a swim up room which was amazing. Pool right outside our room, lounge charirs, swim up bars, lounging coverded beds, etc

He made us feel truly special and it was so nice meeting him. We will look for him every time we go! Luis, Jimy and Charley at the adult pool bars were phenomenal

He even checked to make sure we got home safely. I would recommend him 1000 times again! Jency! He looked for us every morning for breakfast and we were lucky enough to have him as our waiter for dinner a few times

Everyday was full of sunshine and beautiful weather. Beach was gorgeous and clean clear waters. The whole resort was nicely laid out and every area was beautiful and nice detail. Restaurants and food was good

This would be our first time in Punta Cana and all inclusive. Looking for something all inclusive and adults only. After looking at different resorts, reviews and even YouTube videos

My experience at Secrets Royal Beach Punta Cana was excellent from start to finish. The resort felt like paradise—beautiful pools, a stunning beach, and spacious suites with every comfort

A huge shoutout to Francis, Nova, J Low, Jorgi, Flower and Junior for going above and beyond to make my stay so much fun! During my visit, there were some issues with sargassum on the beach, but the hotel worked hard to clear it daily, and I really appreciated their effort to keep the area as beautiful as possible

There were plenty of options to choose from, so I never got bored with the food. The entertainment team was outstanding. They not only kept me entertained but also made sure I had company throughout the trip

The dining was delicious, the drinks always flowing, and the spa was the perfect place to relax. Most of all, the staff made me feel truly cared for, always friendly and attentive

The restaurants were good – I especially enjoyed Bordeaux for its elegant dining experience and Himitsu, which had a great show from the Chef’s cooking in front of you

I loved the variety of activities during the day, from water aerobics to dance lessons, and the nights were full of energy with live shows and themed parties

We only got a butler the last three days of service who wasn’t really able to do very much for us but apologize for the pool and apologize for lack of warm water because they needed to get parts to fix the water system, but that should’ve been told to us upon check-in which the room wasn’t even ready at 4 pm

The restaurants On the resort didn’t require reservations because they were not that busy but the same food is serve served at every restaurant just in a different presentation manner. We’re also supposed to get a butler

3 stars for what felt like a 3 star hotel, not a 5 star hotel. The biggest issue is that we came here for a wedding and more than half the wedding group came down violently sick from what was most likely food poisoning

There were multiple other issues that made it feel like it wasn’t a 5 star stay. The room we stayed in had several problems like a leaky sink and broken locks, and we had to chase the workers multiple times to fix it

Another thing you will not get any peace and quiet they do all of the evening activities right out by the rooms of the swim outs in the balcony rooms. You will hear nothing but chaos Monday through Sunday

The dreams resorts are definitely in my opinion becoming less of a dream destination and a service yourself and don’t expect much resort destination. Save your money and pick a better all inclusive

Great drinks!! We stayed in the Tierra suite and it was amazing, private pool and beach front. Our mayordomo was awesome, David C. & Angelo at the beach service was amazing as well

A special shout-out to Delvin, the manager of the pool area, whom we’ve known for many years from our previous visits to Dreams. Seeing him again made the trip even more special

After COVID, we finally returned to celebrate my birthday and decided to stay at Live Aqua and it was a wonderful experience. The resort is beautiful and very clean, and the weather during our stay was perfect

The only downside was room service food was not good and not enough breakfast options, just one buffet and we felt the food there was always cold. All other restaurants for lunch & dinner were awesome

He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience—from helping with food and accommodations to making sure everything was perfect throughout our stay

The food was excellent, and one highlight was the authentic Dominican food that Delvin arranged for us through one of the hotel’s chefs—it was outstanding

Shout out to Victor OG, Baby Face and Johnny Bravo to name a few. The two ladies working the drinks by the preferred pool closest to the buffet, amazing little team

Not only does the entertainment team work their butts off on stage, but they run around running activities throughout the day, with enthusiasm, while also having a bit of time to stop and say hello; a fist bump or a high five with a big smile

com provided amazing customer service when I needed to make changes to the guest name on my reservation prior to my arrival, they went above and beyond to make this happen

This is our second year in a row visiting and I think we’ll be back next year. Kids love it and the second year was even better, we easily acclimated and jumped right in with an excursion in buggies, second day there

Water slide and lazy river area is fantastic and well staffed observing safety etc. Eateries by the pools are perfect for a quick meal. Whomever designed this place from Hyatt, fantastic job

The beach has a waves but we actually had fun staying close to shore and jumping whenever the waves pass. The resort is not too large, but also not too small

Very clean and family friendly. The buffet has lots of options for every pallet. Waiters for drinks and meals at the pools and the beach. Activities for adults and kids all throughout the day

Moreover, we asked lots of time for towels, pillows and more and nothing got done in time. the resort is amazing for the kids of course

Overall good. On the second last day they cleaned our room but no towels, toilet paper, or Kleenex. We called the front desk to get some sent. No one came…. I had to go to a public washroom and take some…

We had a great swim out room - it was amazing - pool water was nice and warm - the deck has been remodeled with new materials - just fabulous!

Right next to this pool is the toddler pool, with a much smaller bubble which was a hit with my 2 year old twins. These pools are also right next to the beach and food trucks, making everything super convenient

The main pool has the deeper end with a bar where adults hang out, but it’s connected to the kids pool which has the big bubble where my 6 year old wanted to jump and slide all day long

The property itself is stunning and beautifully maintained, featuring a gorgeous pool area and a breathtaking beach that we enjoyed every single day

Yadenny from the entertainment team invited me to play volleyball and I had a lot of fun. She made my brother and me laugh a lot. Without a doubt, a good experience. Rafal Nadal Pickleball was fun too

Every member of the team was cordial, friendly, and impressively efficient. Whether it was remembering our favorite drinks, checking in on how our day was going, or simply sharing a laugh

The staff here are the reason why people love this place. The customer service is exceptional. The nicest and happiest people I’ve ever met. Alejandro Soriano are the best bartenders and honestly such great human beings

We just returned from a 10-day stay at the Meliá Adults Only Resort in Punta Cana, and the highlight of our trip was without a doubt the incredible staff at the Elyxr Bar

The bar staff ( Radalis, Ramone and William from the fresco pool bar) at this hotel were outstanding. From the moment I sat down, they were friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming

- Zeleika (hope I’m spelling that right!), the main pool server, kept the drinks flowing nonstop — always with a smile

Junior reached out asking for a review near the waterpark. Taught us a bit of Spanish which I was too drunk to remember! 😁 The whole family had a great time. I have to mention how hard things were to discover

A very nice place and experience. I was able to take a picture at the SpongeBob house. Took my son here and he enjoyed it fully. We paid day pass for $175 per person and that is all inclusive towards food

- Joel at the buffet grill went out of his way to make sure I had an enjoyable and delicious meal. - Ramona, our server at Aqua Nick, was always attentive and made sure we had everything we needed

We had an amazing trip, made even better by the friendly and incredibly helpful staff throughout the resort. Several team members truly went above and beyond and made our stay unforgettable

Desserts snacks drinks everything. And the day pass is from 9 AM to 5 PM. You’ll have to leave your passport at the front desk though until you’re done with using your day pass

We had such an amazing vacation at Dreams Royal Beach. There are so many staff that are always happy to help. We were very spoiled by the kindness, friendliness, and willingness of the staff to help with any need

The staff was great everywhere! The steak was amazing at all the restaurants and we all (teenagers included) liked the grill by the beach. The New Year’s celebration was fun and the whole family had a good time!

The people are so friendly and polite. The nightly entertainment is great every show was awsome. My favourite was Retro night. I will be telling my friends about this resort and I will definitely be back

Clean rooms and clean hotel overall. Gym a bit small but did the trick. The staff was WONDERFUL! SO FIRENDLY, HELPFUL AND ATTENTIVE. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay

The pools are also beautiful and quiet. We have three children ages 19, 21 and 23. We were looking for somewhere that wasn't a party scene but would be enjoyable for our family. This place fit the bill perfectly

We’ve just returned from a wonderful vacation – it’s been about a week since we got back, and we still think back on it with great memories

We still enjoy our stay, we love the long walk on the property, the beach was always clean, a lot of seats, love the bars, and caffee by the pool, the juice bars, also we felt safe to walk outside the property for local shopping

The hotel staff was kind and helpful, and we were very satisfied with the service. The room could perhaps use a little update, but overall, it was absolutely fine

The food was delicious, and there was a wide selection, so everyone could find something tasty to enjoy

We discovered we could only book 3 restaurants for a 6 nights stay only when there and my husband got sick from something he ate during an excursion booked with the resort (1 more person got sick as well from the same trip)

There are other parts in the property that are less crowded but no sand in the water, it’s all rocks. Also, dining in the main room, la terrazza, is so messy, no tables ready, no napkins, no cutlery, glasses, just chaos

17 minutes from the airport Accessible buildings and rooms. The family suite room in building 11 was amazing. Can upgrade to premium giving access to premium bar and lounge

The room was great; the staff were wonderful and helpful. We appreciated the all inclusive package very much and found joy in walking on the beach

On the other end there are a few things that lowered my experience. First the hotel was a bit outdated, the rooms need to be up to date, the bathroom doors were loose, the towels were old and a bit raggedy

Stayed as a family of 8 with 2 people per room one room seemed very clean but one had a very strong uncomfortable molding piping smell 2 rooms only had a lamp as lighting not sure if it was set that way but pretty dim when getting ready loved the double shower heads very convenient when rushing to get ready only problem water went out to closet and wet luggage even having the small tower on floor was...

The food was outstanding, fresh fruit, especially the passion fruit, mmmmm. We also booked into the other restaurants on the grounds, simply delightful

You have to travel to another public disco if you want to have this experience, is very peaceful at night. That would be great to you if this is what you are looking for

Due to hurricane flooding in the past many first floor rooms smell like mold. Changed rooms with about an hour of headache when we got there. Room we were moved to was not cleaned

I had an amazing week at Excellence El Carmen, a week that I will hardly forget. The resort is amazing and the atmosphere is just so relaxed and exclusive, especially if you're part of excellence club

We had an amazing time at Excellence resort - they have various activities, amenities & events on site that you can participate in

  However, there are very limited options for vegetarian esp if you think about your protein intake, there is hardly anything

Shoutout to their famous Coco locos! Special mention - Senor Diaz at the Prelude bar for a memorable experience!  Activities - really fun activities at the resort - bag painting, aqua trampoline, aqua bike, ping pong tournament, bingo, karaoke, poker, silent disco & so many more!!!!  Amenities - they have a wide array of amenities - gym, darts, tennis, archery, volleyball (pool & beach), board games...

  Somethings that are commendable & really stood out:  Cocktails - Excellence has by far the best of the best cocktails & bars! Their drinks are creative & everyone can find something they enjoy

Great experience! Some improvements needed such as better hot water in the rooms. Sometimes some pools were closed. Provide food delivery in the rooms. However, overall great relaxing experience

Staff were great and buffet had variety for picky eaters and others alike. Music at pool and shows was very loud so we had to sit far away but overall great family trip

Honesty I didnt have big expectations for this resort but it is small and eash to navigate than the Punta Cana big hotels and you really get to know the staff. Food was hot and so much selection

Swimming options are endless, with four+ infinity pools, large heated jacuzzies, and the beautiful turquoise waters and white-sand beaches of the Caribbean Sea

There are also multiple pool bars and grills throughout both the Hyatt Zilara and Hyatt Ziva resorts, with food and drinks available everywhere you turn
