The pool area was perfect and my children had a blast! The piña coladas were great as well! Room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable! Hotel is centrally located in “El Malecon” and close to many tourist attractions in the city

Nice pool, they do a Christmas event; the location is fair

The offer water bottles to brush your teeth which is nice for travelers with concerns of local tap water. The pool was amazing, excellent vibe and music. Very nice gym as well… they also have tennis courts available

The room was up to standard, very lady with pool view, not so much of an ocean view but still good views. The room did not have an iron and I called down and one was quickly brought up to the room

When I'm here I spend the majority of my time at the pool which is never over crowded and I have made friends with the crew at the Sol Pool Bar

Everything was excellent even i left my passport at room and call hotel from airport to see if they findit and they send a taxi with security from hotel and deliver my passport to airport service was excellent 5 star for me

Breakfast didn't include bacon, and had only one type of ham and cheese. Small selection of vegetables and speciality dish, 1 type of fish and one type of meat. No cheese, ice cream or even pudding for dessert

I realize it is low season in Samana at this moment, but i had expected more from a Wyndham hotel. Further more, driving there, you can get lost, as there ar no signs or directions to follow

We expected a lot more for this hotel. Checking in, the receptionist was very friendly and so was the bellboy. The room was sober but clean and i have no comment on that

Lovely place where you can relax, have good meals and drinks. Very friendly staff, they make you feel like home. Beach excelente with bars and snacks. We planning to come back with the hole family.

At first it bothered me, but we were able to use both hotels, except for some areas like the buffet at the larger one and a few other things. Other than that, the beach was beautiful and the pools were nice too

The food service and the whole experience at Jade restaraunt was exceptional, from the the initial contact with Yeilin, and the service from both of our waitress who’s name I didn’t get which I do apologise and our chef Victor were all exceptional and the food was honestly amazing

Awesome vacation for our family! Resorted was exceptionally clean and everything was so conveniently located to our room and so many amenities! Staff were friendly and helpful

There are a couple of things that could be improved, like having more areas where people can hang out longer, or places to play games such as volleyball or something like that—but that’s just my personal opinion

We stayed for 2 weeks and loved it. The resort is clean and the grounds well maintained. The food was excellent and there was enough variety to have something different every day

Rooms are clean and stocked with may amenities. The spa is nice. On a scale from 1 to 10 i give the staff a 1,00%

The staff and amenities were amazing. Rooms were great!!! I was in the adults only section closer to everthing and my friends had a private pool with their room

The bar staff were great especially at the essential section as well as Toni at the adults main pool bar

Everything was rusty in the bathroom and sink. The housekeeper enters the room without knocking. Only receives 1 bath towel no wash clothes.

The gym had a trainer during the daytime which isn't common. We were curious about the membership pitch for the Elite Club, but the timing isn't right for us. No complaints from our 3 kids (2 teens and an 8 year old)

Nice hotel. Wouldn’t stay again. But it was nice. The restaurants and the bar on first floor are very elegant. The 3rd floor rooftop pool wraps around the building which is pretty cool.

The rooms were very clean and modern. Great location, close to restaurants. Very helpful staff and checking in was easy. Pool was beautiful and great view.

I spent over 3 months at this IHG hotel in Santo Domingo and I must say, for someone who travels, sometimes; this is one of the best city hotels I have ever been to because of their consistent great service

A fantastic hotel. Very clean. The concierge Pablo is super friendly and helpful. The hotel has a large pool. The hotel is in downtown Punta Cana which is a huge plus. Close from every place.

One of the top restaurants recommended by Trip Advisor( Noah) to visit is right in front for the main entrance to this hotel. Staff were attentive and gave us blankets, extra extra towels

We had a king size with a view of the pool. The shower is one of the ones with no door, so if you don't like that you might be unhappy. But I loved it! I'd say the rooms are in between

The rooms are clean up-to-date. The price was amazing located next to the popular bars. the bartenders in the hotel were very nice. I would definitely recommend this place to friends reserve a room again

This is a very specific complaint though and it definitely not a make or break. We did peek at the breakfast the morning we checked out and it looked delicious, but I cannot vouch for the quality

The decor is modern and bright and very clean. We dealt with two different front desk staff member Wil and P Salas. They were both very friendly and lovely. The room is minimal, but very clean

The room was spacious and had a great balcony overlooking the pool and beach. The seating at the beach is horrible. Not enough seating and it is taken by people from early morning by just throwing a towel on the seat

Everyone has the only problem with sunbeds, but for one dollar it can be solved

The staff are friendly and the pool and beach are clean. My room was large and comfortable and the food has been some of the best buffet style hotel food that I’ve had while visiting Santo Domingo

They don't show up until much later. Either add seating or do not allow people to take seats without being there. They remove the dirty towels first then replace them later

Absolutely exquisite adventure and extraordinary experience!! Victor Polantes is amazingly wonderfully experienced and involved with the day to day operations of this beautifully sculptured and wonderfully manicured grounds!! I was treated like a very valued and special guest

We aren't on the Malecon often and needed a spot to sit, and eat while we waited for a few hours and Hotel Catalonia fit the bill perfectly. They also have a great view!

Today I tried to open the bottom faucet unsuccessfully so I asked the room attendant for help and what came out of the faucet was disgusting. I just realized after about 7 nights that something was biting me on my leg

La Ciudad Colonial is within walking distance, making it very convenient for shopping for souvenirs and exploring historic sites. There are also plenty of restaurants and casinos nearby, all easily accessible on foot

My wife and I recently stayed at the Sheraton Santo Domingo, located along the Malecón, and we had a very pleasant experience overall. The location is excellent—central to most tourist attractions in the city

The pool area is lovely but again for the price I paid I expected thicker, nicer pool towels and the ones we got were more threadbare than anything

The street in front of the hotel can get quite busy, but that’s typical for such a densely populated city. Thankfully, the rooms are well insulated, and outside traffic noise did not disturb our stay

The only downside is that the main dinning area does not offer dinner, but dinner options are available in the lobby area for an additional cost. The hotel also has a nice outdoor pool and a decent gym

If this is your first time venturing to the Dominican Republic, hotel Catalonia is the perfect first stop. The island is absolutely stunning. Buffet food was consistently cold

Entertainment is very limited, making the resort extremely quiet. There is no convenience store on site, and communication before arrival was poor, as emails to the reservation department were not answered
