We arrived in the evening; it was raining, and we had to walk to the far end of the complex. The walkways were flooded, and the reception staff didn't have any umbrellas. The water was so high that our shoes and socks were completely soaked. The rooms shown in the photos are probably in the front part of the hotel. The cleanliness was not up to the standards of a 4-star hotel. The toilet seat was loose, and there were exposed wires sticking out of the wall. At breakfast, the only coffee available was from a machine, which didn't taste very good at all. However, the breakfast itself was varied and well-balanced. You practically have to beg for a bill, as there seems to be a complicated hierarchy. All in all, it's more like a 3-star hotel with a 5-star price tag.

We booked 3 rooms. One for our 2 sons (16 & 19), one for our daughters (14, 16 & 18), and one for us.
Me and my husbands room smelled so bad of sewage, i could not sleep. We complained and they changed us to a much better room. The air conditioner was broken but they did try to fix it right away. When they couldn't, they offered another room. We didn't want to change again so we asked for a fan. They gave us a really nice, powerful fan that did the trick. The shower smelt of sulfer strong. Our kids rooms were fine. Our sons rooms air conditioner was leaking so much water but they fixed it. Also they had a shower room seperate from their toilet room. The toilet area smelled fine but their showet room had an awful smell. The food was good for some of us, not so good for others. Some had stomach issues during our stay. The staff was absolutely amazing! They were the best part to be honest. They try hard to keep you happy, they're pleasant & helpful. The resort itself was nice, they close the pools at 8 pm though so that kind of ******. Plus they cut off drinks and snacks, etc. By 1 am. Nightly entertainment was good! The beach was also good! The only complaint being how much they hussle you there. Its annoying. You basically need to go with a roll of bills to be comfortable. Prices are outrageous, people there are always trying to get you to buy something. The excursions are amazing but sometimes cut short, and the drive is nerve wracking!

Staff at bars rinsing cups.. especially beach bar.. not washing. Beach bar repulsive smell as it is near waste water/toilet holding tank. Not nearly enough loungers at beach and the ones there most are broken. Couldn’t get towels for the first 3 days.

We specifically booked this hotel for one night because of the rooftop pool shown as the main photo online. It was the primary reason for choosing this property. Upon arrival, we were told that the rooftop pool is not included and actually belongs to another hotel, which felt very misleading.
The listing states “all inclusive,” but this was not fully accurate. The bathroom had a strong unpleasant smell, cocktails were served in plastic cups that did not seem properly washed, and sunbeds were all “reserved” from 5:00 AM, making it impossible to use them.

Very friendly, accommodating and curtious staff. The rooms are spacious, equipped with a fridge and a few fresh bottles of cold water. I believe most of... if not all rooms have a balcony. Free breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet with variety of foods. And an all day snack bar. Non stop free drinks, 3 pools, kid friendly and access to the beach, with another all inclusive bar ( except for bottles) Wifi can be a bit wonky ( in and out), but overall, a great stay at a great price. Only warning (outside the hotel) ... the sidewalks outside the area are very cracked and uneven and some areas' lights aren't always on, so use caution when walking around and exploring the neighborhood. (I had twisted my ankle pretty bad the day prior to arriving, so this was a slightly bigger concern than it normally would be for me)

My skin literally smelled like bleach after taking a shower. The bathroom reeked of bleach after showering.
Staff were good, location was great. Lots of restaurants around. Restaurants at the hotel were not great though.
Rooms were not sound proof, so could hear the neighbours slam their door every morning and night.
They were also doing construction the entire time. Painting ceilings, had to fumigate our room the first day???? And constant hammering.

The facility is good. The beach towel they charge $10 if you borrow and bring to the beach area. The hotel activity coordinator was amazing hospitality Rosa, Yhon and Jose the bar tender.

The employees are amazing !! We used it for a destination wedding... Stunning views amazing food and very accomodating of food allergies. Sept 5 2017... I hope all are well after Irma.
