The staff is friendly. The resort is very clean and safe. The customer service is truly five star. Our drinks were always full. Our butler Gradin was very attentive. He made sure all our requests were taken care of. They definitely made you feel like a king or queen. Would stay here again.

Ingrid at the front desk was simply the best. And I mean ever. Give this woman a 36% raise because that's how good she is. Narmi is also great at making drinks on time and always right. I love this person with a passion. Highly recommend.

At the beginning of our stay we were greeted by an amazing woman, Ingrid, who soon became a familiar face throughout the trip. She was there to help us make reservations, find the best place to eat, help us translate (she spoke fluent Spanish and English), and even give us tips on what to eat and drink. There is no better person for the job than Ingrid. Thank you Ingrid for making my trip to Dominicana amazing.

The resort is beautiful. The people were wonderful, especially Sandro our butler and Ariel our beach butler. They made our week here amazing! There are a few things the resort needs to address, such as: 1) The members area of the beach needs to be more clearly marked. 2) There needs to be more places in the rooms to hang things to dry. 3) They need more servers on the beach (sometimes we waited 40 minutes after ordering a drink). If it weren't for Ariel we would have really complained about this. 4) The beach was very rocky. You had to go down in front of the other resort to get into the water.

Just come back from our second visit. Family trips for summer holiday. We had a swim up suite on the wave (family friendly side) but it’s all interlinked with the hammock (adults only) section so the review will apply to most of the same stuff.
The room was lovely cleaned everyday to a good standard and there was a turndown service most evenings. There is a fridge but you only get water in it refreshed daily. You can fill it using a points system which got get at the start of your trip (so many per day you stay). You can spend them in the coffee shop which has cold drinks (water, coke, sprite and similar) or beers just be aware if you get bottles they need a bottle opener and there isn’t one in the room. There is also a few different snacks as well.
The pools were lovely and two of them are very quiet, some days there was just the three of us. The swim up bar pool was busier and much louder at times.
The restaurants were lovely with really good staff. Special mention to Jonathan in the Italian and Lois in the buffet amongst others. The steak house was our favourite though never a bad meal.
Evenings are reasonably quiet and not a great deal for party lovers however it suited us and we were really well looked after by Hellen in the compass bar who ensured we were never without a drink.

We have stayed all over the world traveling for both business and pleasure and this resort was awesome! Edwardo also know as Fast Eddie at the pool was amazing keeping our drinks full. Never once did I have to ask for a refill. To the staff at Margaritaville….keep Fast Eddie no matter what! Made our vacation perfect!

Our stay at Azul Beach Resort was absolutely AMAZING! It was my first time out of the country and I felt so comfortable with the Azul. Jeffrey our concierge was the most helpful and Gabriel our brand ambassador was so welcoming and assisting as well. The customer service was the most OUTSTANDING service I have ever had in my life - and I used to work in customer service. Restaurants were delicious and service was the best ever. A few staff members at the Azul Beach Resort said “If you’re happy, I’m happy.” Also, the excursions were such a fun time, we did the Scape Park & Dune Buggies with the Caves. This place is the perfect mix of fun and relaxation! Absolutely incredible overall!
