The service staff friendly and eager to help
At the 24/7 coffee shop, we encountered two very different levels of service. One staff member was wonderful, but the other was incredibly rude and unwelcoming. My entire group shared the exact same sentiment.
We noticed a recurring pattern across the resort and the cafeteria: staff were energetic and friendly toward some group (which I can't mention here due to expedia/Hyatts review policy/rules) but be prepared for a very different level of "hospitality." based on where you are from.
Beyond the service, the food was mediocre and the pool was underwhelming.
Hyatt needs to invest in serious diversity and hospitality training. When you treat paying customers poorly, you can't expect them to return.
Best of luck - we are never going back there again.
Cons: The beach was nonexistent. I called ahead to find out was there a good and swimmable beach they told me absolutely yes. Cap Cana beach is terrible.
The food was disappointing, not 5star...more like 3star.
