The holiday was very successful. We were also lucky with the weather – 26–28°C in early January.
As a 4* hotel in Egypt, it definitely exceeded expectations. Beautiful, well-maintained green territory, a very good beach, and the possibility to swim directly from the shore. The pool is large and heated. Sunbeds were always available everywhere – by the pool and on the beach, even in the first line.
Food was a pleasant surprise – varied and tasty. As in many hotels in Egypt, breakfasts and coffee were rather weak, but overall the quality of food was good.
Rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was generally helpful and tried to solve issues when they arose.
Cons:
No acknowledgment at all of a birthday stay – not even a small complimentary gesture. Everything was offered only for an extra charge, which felt disappointing. A simple towel decoration would have been enough.
On January 6th there was a special event in the restaurant. Guests without a reservation (which many were not informed about) were redirected to another hotel. Transfers were overcrowded, and many guests were confused and had to look for alternatives.
The hotel is located somewhat away from the city, but transportation is easy to arrange by taxi.
We’ve been treated soo well by absolutely everyone and could not be happier with the service provided.
Biggest love for the animation team! Every single one of them made themselves always available to us and made us feel, not just welcome, but also appreciated and for this we’re soo grateful.
Particularly Erika was always available, kind, genuine and a real class act!
They all went above and beyond to help and entertain us but they also made genuine friends out of us and I really hope one day I get the chance to exchange the kindness and host them.
A special thanks to Mahmoud who was always helpful in accommodating last minute requests and changes as well as checking in with us daily with the upmost respect.
This trip was genuinely made great by every single staff member we had the pleasure of interacting with.

There was entertainment throughout the day with various activities day & night, and possibly the most enthusiastic team I've ever encountered. The waterpark was also immaculate with a good variety of slides.
The spa / gym in the charmillion club area was small but very clean and had more than enough there. Spa packages are reasonably priced.
We used all the restaurants - the Lebanese and Japanese stood out for us but they are all nice. Set menus but food is very tasty and portion sizes large. The main buffet had many options at all meal times - not a reflection of the hotel but it was very chaotic due to it being busy so be prepared. The sea life resort buffet was more calm and quiet and equally as good food.
All of the staff we encountered were so friendly and helpful, and were always willing to go the extra mile to help.
The room was clean and well maintained, big enough for an extra bed for a family of 3. I think the bathrooms need a bit of tlc but it's nothing major and certainly didn't affect our stay.
