All areas of the hotel were spotless and my room was a good size and the bed very comfortable.
Breakfast was fantastic, hot options were cooked to order meaning all nice and fresh and there was a good selection of continental as well.
I was greeted with a smile each time I went through reception and everyone was very helpful and friendly in all areas of th hotel
I usually only review hotels if they are bad, but this hotel was excellent for the price. From the warm welcome to the excellent breakfast, this hotel does all the essentials right. It's also much bigger than the impression it gives.
Yes, the rooms are a bit worn, but they are charming and clean. The staff I encountered were warm and passionate about Tallinn and proud of the hotel. The gym, sauna and Elemis toiletries were a good surprise.
The breakfast in the beautiful basement was very good (warm items were cooked to order).
Room was very quiet where I was (top floor facing courtyard), but the bed was too soft for me. Shower curtain instead of a glass cubicle was not a deal-breaker.
All in all, a gem of a budget hotel.
It would be good to have a larger table to work at if you're there on business and expect to have to work in your room for some of the time.
