Good location, slightly out of the main city but really easy to get to by metro. Nice bakeries nearby. The 3 for amenities is based on the lack of tea and coffee making facilities and how tiny the rooms are.

I had a great stay at this stylish hotel in Paris. The room was very clean and, although small, it’s exactly what you’d expect in Paris. Check-in was smooth and the staff were genuinely friendly. The hotel itself has a very cool and modern vibe. Breakfast offered a good variety, and the on-site parking garage is reasonably priced by Paris standards — a big plus. Definitely not my last stay here!

The room is average, relatively small, and the facilities are average.
Environment: average, the window is small and cannot be opened.
The hotel breakfast is good, with many choices, and the restaurant is good.

We have always enjoyed staying here, but unfortunately, this time, our experience was overshadowed by the behavior of the restaurant manager. Despite the restaurant being almost empty, he insisted on seating us at the smallest table available. When we politely requested a better table, he declined in a dismissive and unprofessional manner, claiming the restaurant was very busy—even though it clearly wasn’t.

Throughout the evening, the manager stared at us for no apparent reason, which made us feel extremely uncomfortable, as if we had done something wrong.

Thankfully, Tila made our evening more pleasant with her excellent service, but the manager’s attitude seriously impacted our overall experience. Hospitality should make guests feel welcome, and unfortunately, this was not the case.

I have stayed at Mama Shelter Paris East twice:
The first time I was curious about this boutique hotel that I had read about and the second time because I liked this quirky comfortable hotel.

From the outside there are few signs of the playful design touches within the hotel. The decor is dark with liberal splashes of graffitti on the carpets, walls and ceilings. The bedrooms are dark and comfortable with good design ideas and funky lamps.

The staff were attentive and helpful making both my stays relaxing. I would return if I visit Paris again.
