Scored 7.6rish on Booking.com while review here is quite low, we were a bit concerned before arrival but turned out everything all good,

Pros:
convenient location, close to line 5.6.7 and multiple bus options.
Located in a quiet laneway, away from traffic noise.
Affordable.
Staff nice and helpful, complimentary luggage store.
Cons: wall a bit thin. can hear neighbor talking, you can only hope they will be quiet at night.
Facility is ok, no elevator so mindful if disability or carrying heavy luggage.
Overall very good. thanks

Great value for what you get - I was very pleasantly surprised

Liked · I loved this hotel! I traveled through Europe for 4 months and this one was one of my favorites. Everything works and is just what is needed, almost like someone lives there and has worked out all the bugs. I stayed as a stop before flying out of Orly, and the M7 to M14 metro worked really well in getting to the Airport from the hotel

Disliked · The location is 13th Arrondissement, which means you need to bus or metro to the top tourist sites. French doors are confusing for Americans - shutting doesn't lock, you turn the bolt to secure the door from the inside, from the outside you turn the key to lock

We stayed there few days back (end of June 2025). The hotel is old with no lifts as expected but the stair case was narrow and dark. There are no fans provided or air conditioning so it's gets very hot in the summer. We had to leave windows open even at night and purchased a fan from outside to battle the heat. The room is good size and a small bathroom. The shower door was broken though.
Positives are that the location is great, very close to the metro, restaurants and supermarkets.
Staff are friendly.
Won't recommend this hotel during summer.

Pretty hotel has everything you need.
This is a very nice hotel next to the place D'italie. Very cheap for Paris and it does the job.

Close to all public transport to get to all the touristic stuff to do. You can park the pram downstairs , very accommodating. The staff is very nice. The bed is comfy and there are extra blankets in the wardrobe for the people that didn't check and the heater is working.

We had the small kitchenette which was nice.

You have Carrefour market 2 min walks which is cheap to get your grocery and such a money saver.

Place d'Italie is quiet and the people are very polite. I definitely recommend this hotel and don't really get the bad review

Quaint clean hotel in Paris!
In a quiet Paris street near Place d'Italie so just a few minutes walk to the Metro. Very friendly welcome from the owner, a deposit was required but it was fine. The room was excellent, very clean, comfortable bed, fridge and even a sink and microwave if you needed it. And the windows were openable. The neighbourhood was very quiet. Some noise could be heard by other guests leaving and entering their rooms and there are steep steps to the higher floors with no lift but it wasn't a problem for us.

I can only recommend this hotel, excellent in every way. Just perfect in our romantic holiday to Paris!

A very quaint hotel in a quiet area near Place D'Italie, we met the really friendly owner, the rooms are very clean, we slept well and we had no problems at all. Actually, this hotel made our trip to Paris very special- it really couldn't have been better in the beautiful city for a romantic trip. Just bear in mind only that the steps to the rooms on the higher floors are steep so some people might have difficulties. But we didn't have any issues. I recommend this hotel completely.

Friendly hotel with good links
We were in Paris for the weekend to watch some rugby and do some touristing. Hotel was REALLY easy to get to, close to good cafes and restaurants and very close to the public transport network. If you have trouble with stairs I would avoid, but for us it was fine. People working there were friendly and sorted us out when my credit card kept getting declined for no reason. Hotel was clean but not modern, great for a short stay. Comfortable beds, good shower and lots of hot water. Perfect for the price if you just need a bed for a weekend. Don't expect the Ritz ;)

Location: a little bit outside the tourist area but still close. Cafes street market and metro 6 and 7 close Rooms: very small, includes coffee maker, hair dryer, mini fridge and television Front desk offered luggage storage but is not 34 hours closes at 9 pm. No elevator and spiral staircase to tote your suitcase up. Breakfast not served but you can buy a basket from them at 5 euro which they will deliver the night before.
