Hôtel Magellan in Paris

If we consider this hotel to be a three-star hotel, then it is undoubtedly one of the best three-star hotels, because it has a pleasant and dignified atmosphere. The rooms are beautiful, bright, and quite spacious, and many of them have new furniture. The breakfast is very tasty and plentiful. The organization is at a good level, although I would like to change the way coffee and tea are served so that visitors can prepare them themselves. This creates more trust and gives guests more freedom.
There are some issues that can be easily resolved. I noticed that one of the reception staff members would go outside to smoke in the charming garden located in the hotel's courtyard, which was definitely not a good thing. The cigarette smoke would seep into the rooms facing the garden.
I would also like to mention that the curtains on the windows are quite transparent, and if you turn on the lights, you can immediately see everything that is happening in the room, so it would be preferable to have thicker curtains with a different fabric texture.
We chose this hotel based on the reviews that the rooms were quiet. I wouldn't call this place quiet, because even though our room faced the hotel's courtyard, we could still hear the noise of nearby roads, which was quite intrusive. However, if you close the window, the noise will be much less, as will the fresh air.
The cups in the room are plastic, which is not very impressive, and they should be replaced with real, beautiful cups that the hotel deserves.
There is a water dispenser in the hotel lobby, and as far as I understand, this dispenser filters regular water. We used this water to make tea, but I would like to draw your attention to the buildup of limescale in the kettle, so it is better to use bottled water for boiling. I recommend that you install a regular water cooler instead of this dispenser. This is much safer for the hotel's customers and visitors.
Otherwise, the hotel definitely deserves a high rating, and if it weren't for these nuances, I would give it 5 stars.

Very happy to have chosen this hotel. Quiet area, close to public transport. Rooms are clean & comfortable. Personnel super helpful & friendly. Breakfast yummie as well. Can defintely recommend 👍🏻

We booked two rooms — one with twin beds and one double — for our family break, staying for 5 nights in total. I can honestly say this is the best 3★ hotel I have ever stayed in! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is plentiful. The location is excellent: just a 15-minute walk to the Arc de Triomphe with great transport links. Getting to and from Disneyland Paris was easy.

The rooms were spotless, tidy, and very comfortable, stocked with shower gel, shampoo, and a high-quality hair dryer. Just bring your own body lotion and conditioner. Each room also had a kettle with tea and coffee. There is a water station downstairs where you can fill your bottle too! The beds were extremely comfortable, and the soundproofing ensured a great night’s sleep. Lovely small balcony to stand out on too!

The outside terrace is a lovely spot to enjoy breakfast or relax. Local shops and a small park are just around the corner. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be visiting again soon!

Location is 4 minutes walk from subway/train and bus stops, you can get a day ticket for 12 euros to use on any of these modes of transport which take between 16-30 minutes to get into the centre of Paris. Hence staying at this reasonably priced hotel. The rooms were immaculate and ample space for a few days stay and is close by to shops, bars and restaurants. What sets this apart though are the staff. The friendly reception staff and chamber maids made our stay even more enjoyable.

Though the woman who was probably in charge for serving customers within breakfast time seemed to me that she pays too much attention to what customers take to their plates by often walking around the tables.

This is my second time staying here. The surrounding environment is very safe. The food was delicious in the morning. The waiters are also very considerate, especially the two employees in the breakfast kitchen. It is near the Arc de Triomphe and only takes 20 minutes to walk. It is a good morning jogging route.
