Hotel Oceania Paris Porte de Versailles in Paris

We booked 2 rooms for a long weekend. We booked two twin rooms, but got a double and a twin.

The staff were very friendly, the rooms were clean and the hotel is well located.

Unfortunately a few things let the stay down.

Parking is €32 a night, which is pretty ridiculous. Luckily, I googled parking and found that you could book parking for less than half the price using a third party app. You shouldn’t have to do this!

Both rooms were incredibly hot and we couldn’t get the temperature below 27’, despite turning the thermostat down multiple times. We ended up sleeping with the windows open and putting up with the traffic noise.

The coffee machines were faulty in both rooms.

The TV/remote control didn’t work in one of the rooms. We reported this to reception, but it didn’t get fixed.

The pool is nice, but the steam room was out of order. Judging by the sign, it had been out of order for some time. There are only 4 loungers, so we had to put our things on the floor when we used it.

Overall, an ok stay, but wouldn’t stay again.
