Reviews
The neighborhood is perfect. High quality, inexpensive bakery very close, and it stays open pretty late. Many good restaurants, groceries & pharmacy, and modes of transportation nearby.
I will stay here again.
I asked to change rooms, and the host was very kind and accommodated my request. However, the new room wasn’t much better: I found a hair in the bathroom, the furniture felt old and worn, there were large burn marks on the bedside table, the bathroom walls were damaged and the tv remote didn’t work.
On the positive side, the staff did keep my luggage for a few hours, they accepted a package on my behalf, and the hotel’s location is convenient.
Overall, I was quite disappointed considering the price (around $200).
The staff was very kind and helpful.
The room unfortunately was very small and barely suitable for 2 people. The room was old and worn down (shelves that haven't been fixed, lights that could only turn off by screwing the lightbulb off.) and dusty. While the daily cleaning was good in terms of new towels and making the bed, they could not clean the dust. The windows and door was unfortunately not soundproof, so you could hear people out in the hallway and traffic outside.
⚠️ WARNING!!! Not recommended at all!
This hotel entered my room without my permission.
The hotel entered my room without my permission and moved and rummaged through my luggage. This damaged items I purchased in France and my iPad. I immediately contacted the front desk the day of the incident, and they admitted that their staff entered my room, claiming they had entered to open my window. This excuse is completely unreasonable! How could a hotel enter a guest's room without their permission? Their attitude was extremely rude and they ignored the matter. I later contacted the hotel manager, who should have handled the matter immediately. This is a serious matter, but they kept telling us that the manager wouldn't be back until Monday. They kept saying they wouldn't address the matter, even though we were staying until Sunday. They knew we were international tourists and intended to wait until after we checked out to address the incident. They later denied any responsibility!
Hotel reviews:
1. The room was very small.
2. Two of the front desk staff had very poor service.
3. There were no customers at the counter that night, but the staff said they were busy and couldn't answer the phone to help with any guest requests.
4. It takes about 30 minutes to get to the famous attractions in Paris.
⚠️ Warning!!! Not Recommended This Hotel
During my stay, the hotel staff entered my room without my permission, moved my luggage, and as a result, items I purchased in France and my iPad were damaged. When I immediately reported this to the front desk, the staff admitted that their employee had entered my room, giving the excuse of “opening the window.” This explanation is unacceptable—guests’ rooms should never be entered without consent.
What made the situation worse was the hotel’s attitude. The staff were unprofessional and dismissive, refusing to resolve the issue. When I requested to speak with the manager, I was told the manager would not be available until the following Monday. This is a very serious incident that should have been addressed immediately. Instead, the staff deliberately delayed, knowing I was a foreign guest checking out on Sunday, clearly trying to avoid responsibility. Later, they even denied their involvement.
Other issues with this hotel:
1. The rooms are very small.
2. Two reception staff members showed very poor service attitude.
3. At night, even when there were no guests at the counter, the receptionist claimed to be “too busy” to answer the phone or assist guests.
4. It takes about 30 minutes by transport to reach the famous attractions in Paris.
This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. I strongly advise future guests to avoid this property.
