The first thing: the smell of the room was so bad and the fragrance gave me a headache. Their soap and shampoo smelled too strange and too strong.
Big thing: The night clerk forgot to give our passports back. We checked out from hotel and stored our baggages. I found out the missing passport when we shopped at Galleria Lafayette and I tried to get tax return.
It was a nightmare! I realized the clerk did not have my passport back to me. Luckily, the passports were with the front clerk when we got back to the hotel!!!! What a torture!!

Brilliant hotel, a mere three-minute walk from Gare du Nord yet extremely quiet in the room. Nicely decorated, spacious with air con and a safe, clean and tidy.
Excellent breakfast, free hot drinks throughout your stay. One improvement would be a fan in the bathroom

The night staff was amazing and very helpful even in suggesting apps to use to book for taxis and local restaurants to try out nearby.

Hotel Hor is located near Gare Nord Station which makes it convenient to travel from London by Eurostar. It’s a short walk from station and quiet. Nearby is a Carrefour City Supermarket and Siti’s Supermarket which makes it convenient to buy fruits and even chocolates and biscuits home. Cafes and restaurants are in abundance, Chinese, Japanese, Indian, French, Western food are easily available.
It is also within walking distance to Canal St Martin, a very interesting canal to observe when there is a boat passing through as the pavement & sluice gates can open and close. Strongly recommend this hotel as the staff is friendly and approachable.
However, will not encourage having the stay with breakfast included as the food is the same throughout. More interesting to eat out or buy from the bakery opposite the hotel.

From our arrival to when we left, Alistair and all the reception staff included housekeeping, were friendly and very helpful. They met us with a bonjour and smile on every interaction.

Our room and bathroom were fitted with modern fittings, and they were very clean and well maintained. The hotel is perfectly positioned to Gare de Nord and Gare de Est and metro lines. The hotel has a lift. Access to pharmacies, grocery stores, cafes, restaurants, and bakeries only meters away. Once you enter the doors, you find yourself in a quiet, comfortable foyer with areas to relax, including a pleasant outdoor garden area. Guests are invited to help themselves to coffee or tea in this area throughout the day. We would definitely recommend this delightful hotel.

It was marvelous to step out of Gare du Nord, cross the street and be at our hotel. The front staff was friendly, engaging and helpful giving us detailed guidance on the Paris transit system. The room was very quiet given the location near the station. Room was also comfortable.

Comfortable hotel close to Gare de Nord. Friendly welcome, easy check-in and a very quiet room. The room was very clean, fluffy towels, and had everything you need. Roomy compared to a lot of hotels in Paris.
We had come from a long flight and slept really well. Appreciated the free coffee machine downstairs as we had an early train and missed breakfast. They were putting it out as we were leaving and it looked good.

IT WAS A GRAET HOTEL BUT THE STAFF WAS NOT GOOD THE DIDNT GIVE US A SINGLE BED FOR OUR RESERVATION

We had a wonderful 2 night stay here. The location is perfect and the room was beautiful. We had a balcony and the view was fantastic! Even though the hotel is located right by the train station, we felt safe and we could barely hear any noise from the street. Very much recommend!

Sooooo luxurious!! Perfect fancy very very Parisienne. Had oysters, lobster ravioli, a very sweet wine, and pastry. Amazing maybe bad combination but settled okay. Pricey but a splurge.

They should really work on clarifying where you should be. My train was behind another one and I could barrely understand what was being announced. My train didn't arrive on the platform it was supposed to.

Very rude waiting staff, constant crashing of dishes and half the menu wasn’t available. Quite possibly the worst coffee I have ever tasted. We also got seated in a tiny table round the corner, and forgotten about. Do not recommend - avoid!!!
