Amazing hotel for the price. Nice cozy room. Usb charger next to bed. Super friendly staff. We were able to leave our bags on checkout to be able to walk around with no luggage. Would definitely return. Great location, just 3 minute walk from Barbes metro station.

Very nice staff! The bathrooms are modern and the beds are comfortable. It’s an old building and thus can be a little noisy but absolutely fine :)

I had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel in Paris. Everything was exceptionally clean, and the attention to detail really stood out. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay. I was especially impressed by the level of cleanliness—towels were changed every single day, which is something I have never experienced at any other hotel before. Overall, it was a truly pleasant stay, and I would definitely recommend it.

Great hotel, great service. Small clean room, next to the metro station with 2 lines. And 10’ min walk to Montmartre. They changed our sheets and towels every day. Our room window stack and the fixed it the same day. There is a small/2persons elevator from 1st floor to 5th so you have to carry your suitcases for 1 floor. But this is how it used be in such a classic Paris building. There is also breakfast with some extra few money, but we didn’t choose it. I would highly recommended.

It’s not in the best neighborhood and the room is not exactly how the pictures indicate, but it is a cheaper option in Paris and comfortable enough. It’s clean, they provide decent towels and the staff are helpful should you need something. It’s also super close to the metro (2min walk, or less) and places nearby are open to eat late.

The staff is exceptional here at Hotel Angleterre. From the people at reception to the cleaning staff and the breakfast staff are bar none and go above and beyond for any request. Great location for getting around.

The hotel represented good value for money. It was clean, warm and well fitted. Location is very close to the Métro @ Barbès Rouchechoart and a very short walk to Montmartre and the Sacré Cœur. Be aware that there is limited clothing storage in the rooms (a clothes rail and some shelves in the TV unit.) Also be aware that the area around ths Métro station. can be a little intimidating at night time. Going while knowing this, you cannot fault the hotel itself.

Perfectly fine hotel. Room was basic but comfortable and big enough for family of four. Double bed and 2 singles. Very quiet with windows shut considering the noise outside. General area is terrible. Groups of men just hanging around on the street. It seriously needs cleaning up by the local authorities outside the Barbès - Rochechouart métro station. Feel for anyone running a business here as it's not their fault.

Don't ruin your stay in Paris by staying here! Over the past 25 years, I have been to Paris many times for work (I deal with revenue and staff training for hotels) or vacation. This hotel is definitely the worst experience I have ever had. The person who check ed us in was rude, yelled at us in Arabic, and asked us to leave because we asked for an explanation for the difference in price between the tourist tax communicated on the trip.com website (the same published on the Paris municipality website). In the end, we paid the requested amount and checked in with a cleaning woman, he refused. I have also attached photos that demonstrate everything. Plus, the area is notorious, dangerous, there is trash and degradation in that street . The elevator is tiny, the stairs are indecent, dirty, dark, and there is no soundproofing. NEVER AGAIN!
