Hotel de Paris Saint Georges in Paris

-On arrival this place looks nothing like it's photos, it's very dirty and disgusting and cheap. -The bedroom door would not lock properly until I hoisted the door up- super worrying as a solo traveler -They preyed on me as a solo traveler. I left the hotel because ii did not feel like a safe environment. -They tried to scam me by saying 'police officers' were after me and they wanted to charge all UK travellers a $135 fee to leave the hotel or I am only allowed out for one hour per day. But this is not true for the rules in France (especially as i am fully vaccinated). They either have the help of corrupt police officers or fake police officers -Two men on the desk were very unhelpful, they are not proper staff this is more like a casual hostel. -I only stayed one night and did not stay for the rest of my trip - they said they would refund me for the remainder of my trip but have not responded to my messages or from *********** directly .They gave me a fake email address, and have not responded to any emails. Really awful- just avoid!!!

Hotel that I will not be able to rate because the reception refused my reservation taken online, and the incompetent receptionist is not able to check my reservation on his computer despite the email that I show him. Save your money don't set foot there

I usually don't leave bad reviews because the price is in accordance with the service. But here it wasn't the case.
- Bed Bugs. I had the chance to have any in my room but my collegues had those in his bed with an SERINGUE on the floor.
- The water pressure is very low, and the pipes are smelling very bad in the bathroom.
- With this price, i was expecting at least a good breakfast. But we have only two limited croissant, a yoghurt, a cup of juice,... If you arrive EARLY enough, otherwise you there can be shortage.
- The place isn't like the photos. Old and beginning to be decadent (wallpaper falling,...). Everything is cramped, My bathroom door block sometimes with the toilet. I wasn't able to reduce the radiator heat because the controller was broken.

The neighborhood is amazing, but it's not worth your nights and money.

Bed bugs. I never experienced bed bugs that's why it took me a few days to realise what was happening to me. Stayed there last week and I am currently still paying the consequences, had to take antihistamines, cortisol and now antibiotics as well. The place is very decadent however the person at the reception is very nice. The location is great.
