Camping de Paris in Paris

Camping de Paris is a unique place. If you're looking for the peace and quiet of the French countryside, look outside of Paris. However, if you're looking for the best base for visiting the Eiffel Tower without breaking the bank, this is the place to be.

Price - A fraction of the price of a hotel in central Paris, especially for families.
Atmosphere - An international mix of travelers; a very friendly atmosphere.
Pitches vary in size, from 8-meter campers to 100m² to smaller ones, so there's something for everyone.
Security - The area is fenced and guarded 24/7.
Noise - The city never sleeps. You can hear sirens, cars, and sometimes helicopters.
Internet - Wi-Fi can be fickle; it's best to rely on your own data plan.

If you're planning a visit during peak season (May-September), book your spot well in advance. This is the only campsite so close to the center, so 100% occupancy is the norm. If you have a choice, ask for a pitch further away from the main access road – it will be a bit quieter.

I highly recommend it. Perfect for those who use the campsite as a base and spend their days exploring.

Access to the site is easy (if coming from the east use the specific access!). Location is good. We cycled into Paris three times.

Large pitch sizes.

Toilets and showers were plentiful. Showers were a mix of poor water pressure, average water pressure, cold, or warm. Down to luck as to which you got.

Not the cleanest of toilets/showers.

Great campsite in a perfect location outside Paris. We arrived late after a snowy journey and managed to grab pizza and drinks in the cafe bar. Great facilities, lovely staff and a shuttle to the nearest Metro station made this a perfect stopover.

Very nice camping facility! Washrooms, showers etc were always clean. Offers a small variety grocery store, fresh baked goods. The bar area/sitting lounge is very nice and comfortable. Service was great everywhere we went. Nice playground for kids. 35 to 45 min bus/metro ride to downtown Paris. I stayed in my Caravan but they do have a large number of cabins to rent.

We really enjoyed our stay at Camping de Paris. The location is fantastic – tucked away in a peaceful, green area yet just a short trip into the city, making it perfect for exploring without the chaos of central Paris. The pitches were well kept, the facilities were clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The on-site shuttle service to the metro was a real bonus, and the café and shop made things easy and convenient.

Some of the motorhome pitches were very narrow though, and some were right next to the dustbins. The smell from the toilets and chemical waste disposal was quite overwhelming when it rained, but I guess that’s just how it is sometimes on a very busy site. We were very lucky with our pitch, it was wide enough to use our awning, but some would not have been wide enough.

If we had to suggest one improvement, it would be to add hand wash and hand driers in the wash rooms – it would just make the facilities a bit more complete. Overall though, it’s a great site and we’d happily stay again!

It was a really nice place we had a lot of fun with our children. We tried the restaurant once and it was surprisingly great. We'll come back another year.

This camping is super close to the city center and very convenient. They had a small shop with amenities. We didn't use the showers or bathrooms so cannot comment on that. Staff were friendly and knew english

Great campground close to the city center. We ate at the bar and got coffee at the little store. Front desk personal were helpful and spoke English. Bathroom was clean and large.

Excellent site, clean facilities. Supermarket was a bit low on stock but there are plenty of shops near to Port Maillot. Will definitely be back.

I really appreciated the restaurant with large chioce of pizzas. The staff is very friendly and they do their best despite a lot of costumers. I really recommend it!
