Studio Champ de Mars in Paris

Cannot fault the Hotel Champ de Mars. Traditional French decor with modern facilities. Room was clean and tidy with plenty of storage. Location was excellent bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk from Hotel. Staff were excellent, friendly and welcoming. Would stay here again without a doubt.

Excellent service, the location is great! The room is a good price considering its location. There is an elevator to bring luggage up and down, 24 hr front reception. You can call taxi with front desk. Room is not big but very cozy, the bathroom seems recently remodeled, highly recommend to anyone visiting Paris.

Location location location. This hotel is situated directly in the midst of many local shops, including a plethora of restaurants. My wife's luggage was damaged, and we were even able to locate a replacement suitcase within a block.
Transportation services are all easily accessed including a metro station within a block.
The streets are all walking streets, only access is taxis and motorcycles. It enables one to wander about with little vehicular traffic and enjoy all of them local shops.
The hotel service is exemplary, including a wonderful quaint breakfast nook in the basement.

I stayed at this lovely hotel in August. I had two nights booked, but had to fly home unexpectedly in less than 24 hrs. The staff were wonderful and very compassionate. Not only did they waive the night's fee, but I had left some clothes behind in the wardrobe. Nothing was too much trouble for them, they posted my clothes on to my home country. Such a cute hotel right in the middle of all the attractions! The pictures are exactly how it appears in person. The shower was so pristine and great water pressure! Francoise ( pardon my spelling ) was super friendly and informative of the area. The restaurants around the corner either direction are great!!

Stayed here because of a Rick Steve's suggestion. Loved it. very convenient to METRO and the most interesting places in Paris.

This hotel was fantastic! The rooms are petite and have an amazing view to the beautiful city. We could even see the top of the Eiffel Tower from our windows! And the windows are French style windows overlooking the city's beautiful French restaurants. The staff was unbelievably friendly and spoke cry good English. My fiancé had just bought me a bouquet of roses and one of the staff brought us a vase to take up to the room! Another staff member gladly allowed us to print out as many forms as we needed from their lobby printer.

My fiancé and I highly recommend this hotel if you are to stay in Paris! This hotel positively contributes to your Paris experience :)

I will preface this by stating when my wife and I travel to Europe we typically want to stay in hotels that are well located, reasonably priced and clean. We are not looking for high end frills and if you want the frills this will not be the place for you. Having said that this hotel is exceptionally located on Rue du Champ de Mars, literally a 30 second walk from Rue Cler in the 7th. The Metro is less than 10 minuets away as well as the RER train station. There are multiple restaurants on Rue Cler and you're a 10 minute walk from 3 of Christain Constants restaurants. The Eiffel Tower is 15 minutes away and the Rodin Museum about 20. The hotel is clean and the staff is attentive to your needs. The downside to all this is there is no air conditioning. The windows open and you get a great breeze but this would make the hotel a 3 season choice. We were there last week and the high temperatures were low 70's so it was not a problem. Lastly this can be either pro or con half of the rooms overlook the Rue Cler area and can be very noisy late at night. If you need quiet to sleep you need to request a room over the courtyard, I actually like hearing the action so it was not a problem for us. Would stay here again on future visits provided I'm not visiting during the summer months.

Hotel is comfortable, clean and in a very good location. Our superior room was a surprisingly very compact size as was the corridors and lift, so check carefully for what you want in your stay in Paris. Staff are ok too - better if you speak French. Travellers should consider this venue with others they may be looking at. Viva La France !
