Staying in L’Empire Hotel was the highlight of my trip to France! Wonderful room, great location and amazing hospitality at the front desk! Julien and Sergey went above and beyond of high standards of service in this hotel, helping me to schedule “the last minute” reservations and sharing valuable tips on the best attractions in Paris. Their willingness to help and a genuine kindness is much appreciated! I will definitely come back

I picked this hotel based off of a recommendation and the reviews. Everyone said great location, friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Yes, the hotel is a good location and the staff is friendly but the room they put us in really put a bad taste in my mouth. They put my husband and I in a room in the basement, it didn’t take me long to realize we were the only guest down there. Every time we got off the elevator or left our room we would walk into a dark hallway that had motion detector lights. The room was hot and uncomfortable, I said something and the staff brought down a fan which helped. Our view was the spa windows and a brick wall. If you’re looking for location this is the hotel, if you’re looking for a comfortable room with a view look somewhere else.

We had a 1st floor room with private terrace. The hotel was wonderful, we even got to check on early. The room was clean and comfortable. Location is everything here. Close to metro and bus stops as well as shopping. Would absolutely stay here again.

Amazing! Everyone at the hotel was extremely professional and made sure we were comfortable during our stay. Rooms were always clean and done on time. The location of the hotel is very safe and extremely close to many major attractions. Also, very family friendly. Don’t hesitate to book this hotel!

The hotel literally cannot be beat! It was incredible being able to walk to everything yet feel like we were in a quaint French side street. Amazing (free!) breakfast!!! Amazing staff!! Amazing rooms!! Amazing housekeeping service! Super close to the metro and bus and right next to the Louvre and the best shopping in Paris. Staying here is an absolute must!

Great location as we could walk to many attractions and near shopping areas. However, the shower needs to be improved. There was no shower screen so it wets the whole toilet after bathing. The water pressure is also not great. Hot cold temperature fluctuates pretty bad. Otherwise, service and breakfast all good

The location is good, but it makes people feel very unsafe, probably because it is in the city center. The hotel service is very good, the room is also very large, the hotel corridor has a very damp smell, everything else is good, and I don't understand why the superior room is underground.

Great location near the louvre. Everything else was bad.
1- we got the wrong room
2- way overpriced for what the room are. This is not a luxury hotel
3- they tried to made us pay for a breakfast we did not have
4- smaller things like no soap in the bathroom, not clean toilet…
Basically, avoid this place unless the night is less than 150€. Above that, not worth it.

This place should have the best burger in paris or no burger at all. At this price I expected something like NYC Minetta Taverns Black Label burger. But all I got was a boring, forgettable burger. Jean François piège has the skill, the kitchen and the ingredients to make a stellar burger - but this just tasted like laziness.
I cannot comment on the rest of the menu, I can imagine the steaks are correct. Just don’t go there for the burger.

Not that I order much Chateaubriand (I usually get stock fillets) but this one was absolutely divine. It was 450g for two people and I had to order a burger after because I was still hungry but I usually have a big appetite for steak dinners.
Overall this was a great restaurant. They asked us to have desserts at the bar because they had an emergency and needed the table and offered us a digestif as compensation that I had them make two instead of one (I initially asked for 3 per person as a half-joke). They initially put the second digestif on the bill but I convinced them to remove it.

My favorite place to eat steak in Paris. Price is on the high side but the steak is heaven on earth. I particularly enjoyed their entrecôte very much. They have selection of meats you can choose from, and you can even opt for the meat tour where they show you the different meats they have.
If you have room for dessert, the pineapple dessert is also really divine.
The décor is really tasteful yet unpretentious. More of a smart casual vibe that I very much prefer.

It was a wonderful experience, the waiters are very mindful of your welfare and happiness. The wine advise was excellent.
