Good hotel, but not during a heatwave! The hotel was fine, service from staff was excellent, but our room was in the roof section of the third floor, and with the heatwave it was impossibly hot all night. Even with the skylights open and the two fans on. The room really needs air-conditioning.

Nice location on an after diner walking distance to the old historical center. Parking was easy in the neighborhood. Breakfast and personnel good, so we were happy.

Beautiful little hotel that is perfect for exploring Tours or nearby Loire Valley chateaux. The proprietors were very friendly and suggested a local restaurant that was delicious. Great position. Great vibe. You’re metres from an amazing eat street and 15 minutes walk from the old city. Breakfast was fine, no hot options. The downstairs room smelled weird, a strange cementy, catch in the back of your throat sort of thing. We asked for deodoriser, nothing came.

Loved this place. First rate on all fronts. Gabriella on the reception needs a special mention as she was one of the nicest,informative and kind staff members I have met in a long time . She basically makes this place and they are lucky to have her. I will certainly stay here again when I return to Nantes.

The room was clean and pleasant. Some staff were helpful but others were not. The breakfast ran out and was not replenished even though we arrived an hour before the end time. The breakfast room was very nice and had a lovely terrace. It would be nice to have a kettle in the room for making tea or coffee.

Right next to the statio. They gave us early check in which helped a lot.

Ghislaine was super helpful!  Great rooms! Not in the centre of town but walkable if you don’t mind 20 minutes and a great location if you have a car and are using Amboise as a base for the region.

Away from the station. You are at the mercy of taxi drivers so you have no choice. We ask hotel to book taxi for us and we’re dropped off two hours before departure of our train. With 20 euros for two kms ride. Rooms are good. Be prepared to walk.

Lovely little place to rest and explore Amboise. Easy 15 - 20 mins walk into the centre of Amboise which the receptionist told us about without prompting. They also had a list of recommended restaurants for us to try which made it easy as first time visitors to the area.

A small but beautiful three-star hotel with good value for money, clean and comfortable. The room is relatively large, which is surprising, and the bed is comfortable. The decoration of the small reception hall is very artistic.

The room was excellent overall. I did not take in breakfast, but it looked tasty. The WiFi worked flawlessly. The location was very good and the room was quiet. When I return, Logis will be my first choice.

Lovely little hotel in the heart of Amboise old city. We appreciated the breakfast buffet and communal fridge available for guests to use.

8am in the morning no one in the reception, main doors lock and no one process the check out, we need to catch the morning train, other guest also stuck suffering with no breakfasts. What’s an experience!

We have stayed many times here and staff are friendly and accommodating as we travel with 2 small dogs . I would recommend.

The receptionist was very friendly during check-in! However, the room was poorly soundproofed; I could clearly hear the neighbors talking and watching TV, making it impossible to sleep. I wanted to complain, but there was no one at the front desk. It was incredibly frustrating! There was also no hairdryer!

The room is a little smaller like in Paris. There’s no elevator. Fortunately we were only one floor up. It was fairly quiet until you heard people walking up and down the staircase early in the morning. Regular shower not hand held like some hotels we stayed at. Very small room with old furniture. Only 1 simpel chair. Bathroom very small and looked not really fresh in te shower. (kitnaden zwart ) +++ 5 minutes from the old city.

When as a family for a 1 night stay over ,lots of stairs as no lift, family room had a beam across the floor major trip hazard as we found out ,poor lighting in the room ,breakfast not worth 10.90 ,close to city center.

Great find For the competitive price, the room and overall hotel exceeds all the attributes expected. The one low point is when getting in after the checkin desk, ventilation should be improved to prevent smell of food, which is a minor point. It is strategically located within 8 minutes from the train station and mall.

The Hotel Orleans was very well located if you intend to visit the old quarter and down to the river. While the rooms are quite 'cosy' they are well appointed and clean. Generally OK although the bedroom was probably the smallest I have ever stayed in!

Everything was great, except A/C. Even at 16C, it barely made the room cool.

Alex on reception was amazing, he was incredibly helpful and friendly. The room was clean and tidy and we had booked parking which was across the narrow road the hotel was located on and was secure.

This hotel is really great. It’s about a five min walk from the train station and very close to the cathedral. No AC but I had a fan and the window opened. Breakfast is very good. It would have been helpful if the do not disturb sign was on the door knob instead of the desk. I could not find it and enthusiastic housekeepers just opened the door a couple times. Would stay again.

Great locally sourced breakfast. Comfortable bed and a good nights sleep. My wife had twisted her back on the journey and we were changed to a room opposite the lift which enabled her to not have to climb any stairs. However this room was quite small. Easy access to the city of Blois and the Chateau. Becoming our go to last night stop in France.

I booked a room with air conditioning. When I arrived, there was only one fan, which did not match the filter I had specified. The hotel also stated that it had air conditioning.

The room was clean. The bathroom is neat. There’s a staircase and elevator. Breakfast is very nice. Staff is very helpful, friendly. The location is great. Just the opposite the chateau.

I don’t know why the rating is so low. The location is very good, right next to Blois Castle. The front desk is also very friendly and helpful. I felt very comfortable here after a day of visiting the castle.

You get exactly what you pay for. A clean bed, clean towels and a clean bathroom. Otherwise it’s small and simple, it’s right in the city center, and if you just want to sleep there and not live there, it’s totally fine.

Great overnight stop to enjoy Blois Overnight stop off with family, secure parking was a bonus as lots of luggage we wanted to leave in car. Friendly helpful staff, free breakfast better than excepted, with freshly baked pastries and bread. Basic but very clean and perfect with easy walk into centre of Blois for evening.

A very old, and dated, but clean hotel in central Tours across the street from the train station. I liked it but it is not for everyone. There was a slight smell that I would attribute to the age of the hotel, something like you`d sense in an old book store. If you are looking for nostalgia, a feeling of how things were 30 years ago then the Hotel de l’Europe offers that, for sure, but at a compromise.  That compromise is only appreciated when you have travelled and stayed in modern purpose-built hotels.  The walls in modern hotels are sound proofed, when the neighbouring room flushes the toilet it does not sound like a thunderstorm. It does exactly what it says on the tin. It’s budget so expect no more. It’s a tired budget hotel. It’s useful as a single night stopover.

Hotel very had to find. Address provided kept leading us to Total Energy station on the wrong side of the highway. GPS coordinates would have been very helpful. Breakfast had good variety and was plentiful.

A little overpriced compared to the services offered. The room is being sold as a studio, but I'm concerned that the size and amenities aren't up to scratch. I found two other similar establishments in the neighborhood with a much more welcoming exterior and reception area.

Very convenient location, bit dated but ok The check in time is very short but the keys are prepared and information was clear so I could check in without a problem. My room didn't have AC so it was quite hot when the temperature was around 30 . The pedestal fan was very helpful but not enogh. Overall I liked the place.

The location, overlooking the Loire, is beautiful. The rooms are comfortable, and we enjoyed the outdoor view of the river. The breakfast was satisfactory in terms of quality and variety. The welcome and service were very friendly.

Perfect place for pit stop. Very clean, friendly staff and easy parking. And a super comfortable bed! It will be our first choice for trips down to SW France from now on.
