The staff is very pleasant and the hotel is well located.

The hotel is ideally located, close to bus lines, the metro, and Saint-Charles train station, as well as not far from the Prado.

The room has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The staff is incredibly kind: everyone we met was absolutely lovely.

The only minor drawbacks were a lack of natural light in the room and the cleanliness could be improved.

For the price, I highly recommend it.

The hotel is OK, clean, the room size is OK, and the facilities are basically up to standard. It is very close to the subway station, which is convenient for going everywhere. There is a Carrefour supermarket nearby, and the snacks and fruits meet the needs. Overall, I feel good.

I would be very careful before booking this hotel during the summertime. They say there is AC but it's extremely weak, perhaps 10% strength, we tested out four different rooms. In the end I had to sleep with a wet towel. Thankfully they allowed me to leave the next day with a refund, all of the staff claimed a taxi would be €15 Euros but actually it was €30+.

Other than that, the hotel seemed good, soft and clean beds, spacious enough, powerful shower. Didn't seem noisy either.

originally stayed there in August 2021. for a night that ok I did not understand many of the benefits. My concern is that while I paid for my room with a card at my check in ..I was also given a guarantee of 100 euros which I still have not taken back .. I have changed so many hotels in Europe, such a policy for the first time I see.

First things first, this place has clearly not been renovated since (at least) the 90s. Moreover some parts of it are clearly falling apart, exhibit 1 my room chair which dropped all four screws on the floor the second I touched it. Secondly, the soundproofing is pretty bad so you will hear random noises and thumping throughout. Thirdly, they use the excuse of covid to not clean your room or make your bed during your stay. On the one hand this is good as you don't have to worry about cleaners bothering you if you want a lie in, on the other hand your room isn't cleaned nor your towels etc... That said it is cheap and the location is conveniently close to a metro. Moreover, the bed was very comfortable and the shower decent. All in all, you get what you pay for but I still felt this was more ibis budget than ibis.
