Bristol Hotel and Spa Bakuriani in Bakuriani

My stay at Bristol Hotel & Spa Bakuriani was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had in my life.
From the moment we entered the room, it was shockingly filthy. The room was NOT cleaned properly — in fact, it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned at all. There was hair everywhere: on the bed, on the bathroom floor, and even all over the toilet seat. The bathroom was extremely dirty and unhygienic. Seeing someone else’s hair covering the toilet and the bed is absolutely unacceptable and disgusting.
The bed itself was covered in hair, which made it impossible to feel comfortable or safe sleeping there. The entire room felt dirty to the maximum level. This is not a matter of “small oversight” — this is a complete failure of basic hygiene standards.
To make things even worse, the safe box (security box) in the room was broken and not functioning at all. It would not open, which completely defeats the purpose of having a safe in the room. This shows a serious lack of maintenance and attention to detail.
The most disappointing part was the behavior of the reception staff, Georges and Tony. Their attitude was extremely rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. Instead of apologizing or trying to solve the problem properly, they acted carelessly and without basic manners. Their behavior made an already terrible situation even worse.
This hotel does NOT meet even the minimum standards of cleanliness, maintenance, or customer service. It is absolutely unacceptable for any hotel, especially one claiming to be a “Hotel & Spa,” to operate this way.
I strongly advise anyone considering staying here to think twice. This was a disgusting and deeply disappointing experience.

Not even worth the 1 star. Worst experience ever. We got the most expensive room, the toilet was dirty and full of hair. The staff are very mean and not helpful at all. Dont ever come here. I even asked them to clean the room, they said I might be lying since I checked at 1 pm and I may be the one who got the room dirty (even though we checked in, left the hotel, and came back at 6 pm). The safe was not working in the room, I asked them about it, they said they've lost the keys and there's nothing they could do.

I wanted two days of rest and relaxation, so I chose this hotel specifically because it advertised a pool / sauna / spa.

When I checked in, I also asked from what time to what time I could use the pool. I was given full information.

I went out, walked around Bakuriani, and when I returned, I got ready to use the pool.

And here is where the “show” began 😀

I asked where the pool was, and a staff member escorted me there, but told me something interesting:
“At the moment the pool is cold, the hall is cold as well, and the sauna is out of service due to a technical problem.”
Before I even had time to ask anything, they added: “It won’t be fixed for about three days” 😅

I asked to speak to the manager.
I explained that the main reason I booked this hotel was the spa facilities, which were not available. There was no information about any technical issues on Booking.com, nor did the hotel send any notification about this problem in advance.

After a long discussion, they told me they would refund the money, and I agreed.

I contacted Booking.com support, and they confirmed the refund, but said it would be reflected in 3–4 business days (so I was left without money 🤣).

It was already night when the hotel called me and told me I had to vacate the room. I explained that the problem was caused by the hotel, that my plans were completely ruined, and that my two-day rest was spoiled.
I said that a hotel of this level should take some responsibility and at least offer to let me stay until morning as a form of compensation.

Their response was: “If you stay for a few more hours, you will have to pay for one full day.”

No apology, no concern — not even a change in facial expression from anyone.

This is complete absurdity, irresponsibility, and disrespect toward guests.
