Park Hotel Kutaisi in Kutaisi

The cabin was generally clean but the shower cabin was leaking onto the bathroom floor, and there was a horrible smell coming from the drains. At first, I thought it might be due to a visibly damaged toilet drain pipe but we were told that because of weather conditions, the drainage service could not come to clean their septic tank.
They offered to move us to a “premium” cabin, which was frustrating because it was smaller and the entrance door lock was not working properly. We called the receptionist to take care of it and even he was struggling to make it work. And later he said that they’ll make sure the management is going to take care of it.

At night, there were people outside being very loud and enjoying themselves- the cabins are actually either side of a busy parking lot. Because of the poor sound insulation from the windows, it felt like sleeping in the middle of a party.

Before arriving we were concerned about possible overcharging after reading the reviews, but thankfully this did not happen.

Overall, the view is nice, the cabins look good from outside but getting there and the service were disappointing.

If I had an option to give negative ratings.. I would gladly do that.. Booked room a month ago. Now room is not in good condition. Not ready to give us another room also. Reaching to this hotel is also a headache. I would never suggest anyone to choose this for your stay even if they offer you a cheap stay. For your own good.

Overall the place is good. Good stuff, good view for sunset. But this restaurant near by is total disaster. Be ready for hot Georgians on their MB will check their engines right in front of your door with loud music at 3 am.
