Hotel Nikea in Kutaisi

We recently stayed at Guest House Nikea in Kutaisi, Georgia for 3 days and 2 nights, and unfortunately, it was far from a pleasant experience.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear that our expectations were not met. While the cleanliness was acceptable, it was not the best. To our dismay, we found that the bedding and blankets had holes from cigarette burns, making us question the overall hygiene of the accommodations. The bathroom, while okay and acceptable, left something to be desired with a lack of basic toiletries.

The owner’s behavior was equally disappointing. It appeared that customer satisfaction was not a priority for the establishment. Additionally, the moment we arrived, the owner was on top of our heads for the payment, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere right from the start.

To our surprise, the amenities were not as stated. Despite the information provided, there was no hair dryer available. Furthermore, we were disappointed to find that the promised washing machine was available in the house, but the process of using it felt like a bargain to discuss and negotiate. Additionally, there was no bidet, which was a notable absence.

One of the most frustrating aspects was the difficulty in communicating with the owners. No one from the owner spoke English, which made our experience more challenging.

The amenities promised on the website were either unavailable or not up to standard. Our stay was marked by constant disappointments.

In summary, our experience at Guest House Nikea was highly unsatisfactory. We would strongly advise against staying at this property due to the issues we encountered with cleanliness, the owner’s behavior, customer service, and overall quality.

Worst hotel ever. Dirty rooms. In non-smoking rooms you'll find lot of cigarette butts and ash. During our stay other visitors were smoking everywhere including rooms and common areas. Better choose another hotel.
