Hotel Classic in Tbilisi

The room itself is very small, which might be fine if you are okay with tight spaces. But the real problem starts with the bathroom. The smell coming from the toilet is extremely bad. Even with the door closed, the odor spreads through the room and makes it uncomfortable to stay inside. It feels like there is no proper drain valve installed, which could easily solve this issue, but apparently it has not been done.

Another disappointing part was the check-in experience. When we arrived, the owner and another guy were just lying on the sofa, completely uninterested in the guests coming in. No greeting, no urgency, no basic hospitality. It felt awkward and unwelcoming, like guests were interrupting their personal space instead of being welcomed into a hotel.

Location near Avlabari is decent, but service and basic comfort really need improvement. With better maintenance and a more professional attitude, this place could be much better.

The room is not bad for one person, can make it also for 2. The only thing is, they don't have complimentaries like drinking water, coffee, or tea. I don't like the smell of the bed, feels like someone slept there before me. It's hard to talk to them because they don't speak even basic english. One more thing is, it's not soundproof, so all the noises of the neighboring rooms can be heard, and people talking outside the room are too annoying that they don't even have rules for that. The breakfast is good, not that much but can't complain.
