Hotel Flamingo in Tbilisi

Great for the price, super central

Location is walk away to attractions, great restaurants, tours, and bus terminals. Further, the hotel is sparkling clean and reception attendants are accommodatijg and prompt in providing requests e.g. electric water heater.

A wonderful hotel with wonderful, welcoming receptionists, Manana and Krestina. The hostess is welcoming, kind, and caring. It felt like visiting close relatives. Our family room on the 3rd floor has a beautiful balcony and mountain views. When booking, please note that the hotel has rooms with shared bathrooms, so you'll be delighted. Unfortunately, we arrived in Tbilisi on a cloudy, cold day, but that didn't stop us from strolling around the city and enjoying its warmth and beauty. Tbilisi is a very warm, beautiful city. The people are welcoming. The food is delicious, and of course, the wine is excellent. And the locals are also very fond of animals. The dogs and cats are all well-fed, there are bowls of food and water everywhere on the streets, and they feed the animals. Their love for animals is a clear indicator of a kind, bright soul! We really hope to return again.

The hotel owner and staff are amazing. They are super friendly and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable. I had a great view of the city from my room. The Flamingo hotel is a small hotel, but definitely worth the stay. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

The hotel is located in the old town. Upon arrival at the railway station in Tbilisi, we ordered a taxi. Taking into account traffic jams, we drove for about 30 minutes and paid 15 GEL. Whereas it was much faster and more convenient to get there by metro, which is located at the exit of the station on the left. Go 4 stops to Avlabari station. You need to buy a card from a machine for 2 lari and put money on it. 1 fare - 1 GEL. From Avlabari station there is 1 stop to the station. Liberty (this is the center), 2 stops to the station. Rustaveli Avenue. If you have arrived or are departing from Tbilisi, then bus number 337 from Avlabari station is also very convenient, travel is also 1 GEL on this card, the ride takes 30 minutes, the bus runs every 20 minutes. When you arrive at the hotel for the first time, you may be a little frightened by the ruins nearby the hotel (old buildings are being demolished), but this is a mere trifle, since the location itself, proximity to the center, to the metro covers everything. The hotel itself is wonderful. The room fully matches the photographs. Everything is clean and comfortable. There is a kettle, cups, glasses, refrigerator, gel, shampoo. The beds are comfortable. Next to the hotel, on the street to the left, there is a wine store, and in the basement there is a small cafe with 4 tables. It's called Gamorjopa. There is also a signature dish with this name, very tasty. But the widely advertised khachapuri on a skewer did not make an impression at all. Within walking distance is the ascent to the cable car, travel on which can also be paid for with the same transport card one way for 1 GEL.

We lived in this hotel at the beginning of November 23. Very good hotel, excellent location. We arrived from the airport by bus from the stop, 5 minutes on foot at a leisurely pace. There is a 24-hour store nearby and all the attractions, the area is excellent. We checked in a little earlier, the room had an amazing view. Everything was clean, convenient and included a hygiene kit. If we suddenly decide to come to Tbilisi, we will only live in this hotel. Special thanks to Manana for her work and hospitality. A wonderful hotel, small, cozy, with good repair and furniture, all amenities in the room. Excellent location, in the city center, very close to the metro station "Avlabari". Polite and caring staff, thank you all for your work!!! I recommend this hotel, we have only good impressions of our stay.
