The location was perfect — close to everything and easy to access. The food was great, with plenty of delicious options, and the room was spotless and very well maintained. Everything felt clean, comfortable, and well cared for. The staff were friendly and professional, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Tbilisi!

A good hotel for the price offered. Market place in 10 minutes walk

Very disappointing experience. I booked a room for 2 nights for 5 people, but when we arrived, the hotel informed us that such a room does not exist. The room we reserved simply wasn’t available, and they admitted they don’t even have that type of accommodation. We had to sit and search for another hotel on the spot and make a new booking. This was extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. I would never recommend this place.

I had an exceptional stay at Aura Plaza Hotel. Gana went above and beyond to make my visit comfortable, especially when she prepared an early breakfast for me despite the usual start time @ 9:00 AM. 🙂 Her attentiveness and willingness to accommodate my needs truly made me feel valued as a guest. The warm hospitality and thoughtfulness are unmatched. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for excellent service and a welcoming atmosphere!

Unprofessional, Disrespectful and Racist Management – Avoid This Hotel if You Value Hospitality

I booked this hotel for our 1st night in tbilisi as the airbnb I booked was available from the next night. My host owned this hotel and suggested it because it was in the same building. We arrived late at night(around 2 am) and only slept there and checked out.The hotel is run by two managers: Gana, who was genuinely friendly and helpful, and Maria, who is shockingly unfit for any hospitality role.

After checkout, While we were moving our luggage to our airbnb, Maria approached my parents and aggressively scolded them over a wet bed runner. I agree it was wet but her approach was beyond unprofessional. Hospitality is about problem-solving and respect, and if there was an issue, she could have politely requested any compensation(though linens are cleaned after checkout anyway). My parents apologised to her but not enough. Instead, Maria escalated the situation further: she called our Airbnb host, exaggerated and fabricated details about our stay, and urged the host to cancel our booking.

As a result, our Airbnb host insisted to cancel our booking as we arrived at the doorstep with all our luggage, elderly parents, and a toddler. We requested the host alot but it fell on deaf ears. Then we went to Maria to request her to not do this, she hinted that if we PAID HER, she would “speak to the host” on our behalf. Left stranded in a new country with no alternatives, we had no choice but to pay her cash. In response, she called the host, who let us in. Also, she told us that she lived in India for few years and how she’s reluctant to give the room to ‘INDIANS’. OMG the audacity of this person and the amount of racism she has in her was so unpleasant to face.

It was clear to us that Maria saw an opportunity to exploit us as an Asian family with limited options in an unfamiliar place. Her greed and lack of basic respect left us feeling humiliated and helpless.

As an Airbnb superhost myself, with multiple properties and over 15 countries visited, I know what genuine hospitality should look like and I know how to take care of the accommodation. This experience left us with a sour start in Tbilisi and we were disturbed for first 2 days. The entire ordeal was shameful. If you’re considering this hotel, think twice.

Maria, if you read this, please reflect on your behaviour. No one deserves to be treated with the disrespect you showed.
