Rooms are not the best but service is awesome. And venue is perfect for Tbilisi visits - close to Liberty square, bus stop right in front of the Hotel. Atmosphere of old Tbilisi yards is brilliant to relax outside.

I was ordered a room for three days and when i chek in i got a lower price room and they said that i can stay only for 1 night when i order a pplace for three nights just beacuse somonre else that didnt order the room wanted to stay more time when i i tell them that this is not fair they yeled at me

It's in the heart of Old Tbilisi, yet quiet and not too noisy as just Inside the main lane.
Get out on the main street and you have everything there, right from spar store to atm, walk 200 meters and it's the lane of all restaurants and pubs.
Less than 10 min walk to Liberty (freedom) square, and 4 mins to Vakhtang Gorgasali Square.
And Zaira is one of the sweetest person, always there to greet with a smile and check in your day. Sweet couple.
It just needs some upgrade, but got to know during our talk that the renovation is planned.
It's a nice hotel with homely touch.

We stayed in Hotel Zaira for 1 week and it is one of the best home stays we’ve ever stayed at. The auntie and uncle who owns the place are so kind, very welcoming and very friendly. Everyday, whenever you go on tours or walk around, auntie will clean your room, change your towels, empties your garbage bin and make your room sparkly clean so when you get back, you’ll just have to relax.
The hotel is located in Old Tbilisi and few steps away going to bridge of peace, narikala fortress, freedom square, Erkle Street (which has loads of restaurants), cafes, groceries and money exchange. The location is perfectly near everything.
Price is very affordable for the service and comfort experience.
We definitely recommend hotel Zaira and will definitely return.

She is cute but it was expensive -40 Lari with not the best breakfast.

Totally disappointed, overpriced, small rooms you could hardly move, no fridge, no kettle, too noisy you could hear staff chatting through thin wooden walls. Lighting was so dim, I was disturbed hearing steps of staff and guests on the wooden stairs. My friend's room toilet had a sewage smell.
I was shocked on what basis this place was ranked as 3 star hotel?! And even more surprised how some reviewers gave it high scores ie 9 & 10?!
It is rather more like a hostel or a guest house than a 3 stars hotel.

The price was great value and they no pressure offered airport transfer for great price and driver was on time and courteous despite being 1am. We arrived at the hotel to a friendly English speaking receptionist who efficiently checked us in. The room had been set to a great temperature and had a comfy bed, clean bathroom and a great balcony. It's a couple minute walk to a metro station and loads of restaurants. Great location and I would have no hesitation in staying here again.

We are stayed for a month of December 2019. Tekla Palace Hotel location was wonderful near to the old city as well as near to all entertainments. The staff was helpful and courteous, and thoughtful. Kitchen and dining area very clean, Breakfast was pleasant. The rooms and bed were comfy and the shower wonderful and both were thoroughly cleaned every day.

The bed was comfy and the shower wonderful. Breakfast was pleasant and the coffee tasty. There is a little noise at night from people in the park or walking down the road. But overall a great place to stay in Tbilisi!

The room was nice quality with private bathroom. No balcony on the ground floor and it is looking out to the street so you have to keep the curtains closed. it is noisy in the morning because the stairs above the room are creaky and everyone is coming down. Lovely staff, 24 hour desk. Speak English well. Great location.
