Beautiful location, inviting presentation on booking portals and homepage. Among other things, with the statement 'pets allowed', according to which we also explicitly chose the accommodation. The dog was also registered in advance. The reception was incredibly unfriendly and we were immediately informed that no dogs were allowed. Dear operator, then simply update your information on the internet and reconsider the tone towards your guests. After all, you're happy to take our money. If you want to travel relaxed with your dog, you probably won't.
The breakfast is really great, very nice new room, very friendly service.
The rooms are unfortunately getting old, with carpeted floors and a bit musty. But of course the location makes up for a lot here too. The beds with saggy mattresses are a real disaster. In addition, the house is very noisy.
We went home early for rest and a good night's sleep. At full cost. See above. We are happy to come to Oberstdorf, as we have been for many years, but certainly to a different and friendlier place to stay.
