Had a great time. Good locations towards Essen Central Station. The staff was quick to check-in and overall facilities state was polished. Certainly recommended.

The room was decent, and having an on-site parking lot was very convenient.

Price - performance absolutely fair. Good location near main station. It's the style, but the staff a bit too informal for my taste. But that is more personal option. Others may like it. Nothing to complain.

Hotel stay was nice, good bedding, I enjoy the relaxed Moxy style. Make sure you have no issues with your payment though - I stayed here one week ago for one night and used the parking lot. 1 day later I found on my credit card statements that they had charged me the parking twice. No problem and should be easy to correct, but no - I immediately wrote an email, no reaction, tried calling them 3 different...

Mediocre hotel. + Friendly staff + clean rooms + location -/- small and warm rooms -/- inadequate airconditioning (we switched rooms, but stays the same) -/- breakfast until 10am, even in the weekend -/- so so breakfast (strange given the positive reviews of the breakfast) -/- typical small hotel gym -/- bad coffee

The location is great, the room is a standard room, nothing special. The front desk has not got always English speakers which can be very inconvenient. The room is quite. 7 minutes walk to central station

Hotel close the main train station and the city center with just a few minutes to walk. It was surprisingly quiet here. Very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast buffet is very good and you can something for every taste. Any time again.

This hotel is kind of very new and modern and the room was very spacious! Staff was professional and friendly. The location is great - close to a shopping mall and the public transportation. Will definitely consider staying again.

Room was oke. Clean. I had a 1 person room you don't see those a lot anymore. But the bed was 120-140 wide so okay. The breakfast was realy nice with salmon fresh baked eggs and to much to choose from. The staff was very nice.

Rooms were very modern and Clean, Location was also good. You could take a bus from Central station to the Hotel. Negative Aspects would be the Internet connection, it was very poor and i had to log in the browser everytime i wanted to use the internet. and the air conditioner ( it didn't work). Reasonable price and located very close to the train station. The staff were helpful and friendly. The route from the station to the hotel is obscured by trees and can be unsafe when walking late at night.

Really friendly, helpful staff, comfortable and sizeable room. Breakfast buffet was excellent for an additional, reasonable, fee. Close to train station and the opera house, was very happy to stay here.

I liked this hotel I liked this hotel, but you should not have too high expectations. It is a fairly stnadard hotel, not fancy in any way. The essentials were there, wifi worked ok, I had a large room, free parking just outside the door. No restaurant though but there were plenty nearby. Didn´t use the breakfast so cannot comment. Reasonably priced.

Location was a short 10 minute walk via a lengthy pedestrian walk thru. Lots of restaurants and shops along the way. Transportation is right outside of hotel. Staff is friendly, especially housekeeping.

Cute little hotel next to the Messe. No air conditioning but the rooms, despite being small, cute and with all the basic amenities. I'd have liked some better complementary toiletries but there is a free water bottle.

Nice hotel This is a nice hotel at reasonable prices, situated in the citycentre. Certainly not a luxury hotel but good value for money. Very nice and attentative in the reception. I got a fairly big room with a balcony . also nice. I didn´t use the breakfast so cannot comment on that. Internet was stable and fairly fast. I can recommend this hotel to those not expecting a luxury stay.

Essen business stay Room was quiet. Shower good and hot. Hotel manager was great. Not far from Central Train Station. Only issue is there are no bars close and not many restaurants within a 10 minute walk but if you walked 10-15 minutes there were a fair few options

Located from 5-10 mins. walk from Essen Hbf. Very quiet and staff is helpful. Free one glass of beer or coke is available at the time of check-in. If you want to go shopping, go walk for 10 mins. and then you'll reach Limbecker Platz. There's REWE (supermarket) and you can grab some German sweets for gifts. :)

Perfect place to stay if you are attending an event at Veltins Arena. The lovely young lady at the front desk even gave a small group of us a ride to the venue. And she was so pleasant and friendly. We even walked back to the hotel after the concert and it was a nice, safe trip. Breakfast in the morning was excellent. This property delivered exactly what we were looking for.

Unusually large room. Nice and clean. Only let down is the lack of air conditioning. Would not recommend going there to stay when the evenings are warm. Yes, they provide free standing fans, but they are too noisy for my liking. Great staff.

I spoke on the phone with the nicest man ever, he helped me through everything and answered all my questions. When we arrived we were welcomed and accompanied to a place to park our car. The service was amazing, I would absolutely recommend staying here. 10/10 service

Although everything seems to be clean and cozy I have two issues to point out: - mattress to soft : difficult to fall asleep and neck / back pain in the next morning - loud cleaning personnel early in the morning (sunday 8h): door slamming and talking loud in the corridors. This is not a 5 star hotel but my rating reflects the quality compared to others of this class (3*). The rooms are kind of variable. Idyllic hotel in a quiet area but with good local transportation connections to Düsseldorf airport and Essen. The hotel has a good restaurant, bar and a 9-pin bowling alley. The rooms and the breakfast are quite basic, but serve their purpose. Overall I think you get really good value for your money when staying in this hotel.

Nice hotel stay for a night. Big rooms, little dated. Could hear some traffic from Road but good location and easy walking distance to old town kettwig, the river and the station to take you into Essen. Breakfast had a good selection and hotel staff were very nice and helpful.

A very pleasant experience for an overnight stay in Kettwig. A great place to dine with generous portions . The breakfast was very good witt a real friendly and attentive service. The rooms were fine ( maybe the bed a bit low ) All in all a perfect place to stay.

The restaurant is just superb, the food is increadible and the service wonderful. The hotel rooms are large and the shower is very good. The location is beutiful. Highly reccommended.

The restaurant is truly phenomenal and one of the best I've dined at in North Rhine-Westphalia! Our server took our allergies very serious and recommended meals and wine pairings. Highly recommend especially for gluten or dairy allergies!

Friendly checkin staff, clean and comfortable room. The balcony was quite nice. The bed was comfy with a bunch of pillows. Despite being in the centre of town, it was really quiet at night and I had a great night's sleep. Very good value for money.

However the breakfast is overpriced at nearly 17 euros - there is a limited buffet selection with no hot food and only coffee from a machine, its not worth the money.

The main station is right on your doorstep, making it extremely convenient. The hotel is super clean, and I was able to change my bed type to a double bed at reception. As a nice bonus, there was a lovely little Christmas market just one minute away.
