We stayed for 2 nights in the Bierhaeusle Hotel, check-in was automated, simple and efficient. The room was very clean, comfortable & quiet.
The adjoining restaurant is family run and offers a substantial breakfast and authentic, delicious, wonderfully presented, good value evening meals.
The hotel is perfectly located for hiking, cycling and sightseeing in the Black Forest region.
Highly recommended!

Expectations were exceeded during our 4 night stay. Staff were friendly and professional at breakfast and dinner. Room (114) was very spacious although windows/balcony face the main road and without a/c in the room, it was occasionally noisy at night. Shower was powerful and shower-room was spacious. Dinner offered a wide range of tasty and we-cooked food with good wine selection. Breakfast choices were typical and copious quantities available.

Everything was great. We purchased breakfast and it was very good. We walked to dining ootions since their restaurant is closed on Sundays and Mondays.. Staff was friendly too.

This hotel is very clean and the staff is friendly. Beds are on thr firm side and our comfort room was very nice. You can walk to some good places to eat and a large park with biergarten. Their restaurant is closed on Sundays and Mondays but there are other places near by.

Everything about this hotel is as it should be. Rooms are functional and comfortable, although maybe a little old fashioned. Breakfast is good. Enough parking opportunities. Allowing smoking on the balconies means that it was necessary to sleep with a closed window and this should be reconsidered.

We asked at the door if we could come in for a drink as it looked like a lovely venue. The lady at the front was very friendly and showed us through to the bar, where we were seated at a restaurant table. We then changed to an incredibly rude waitress, who was cold towards us from the start, and was very angry when we said we were only there for drinks. She also refused a tip when we tried to add service to the bill. We were made to feel very unwelcome - wish we hadn’t bothered!

My “go to” hotel in Freiburg I’m Breisgau. Rather than stay in the city center, this family run hotel has the charm and quiet you need. Ample off street parking and a brief walk to the local tram (line 1) and bus connections. Good restaurant and fast wifi/internet.

Very clean and quiet hotel with modern and spacious rooms, nice balconies and private parking in a nice village. We were three in the family plus a dog and they catered very well for us all. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and went above and beyond to help: we arrived late but the lady in the reception even stayed after closing time to welcome us and let us in, even though we had already been advised of a key box outside. Made us feel extra welcome! The restaurant was closed (Sunday night) but breakfast was delicious. I will definitely stay at this hotel again if I am in the area.

The room was comfortable and clean. I love how everything was decorated for Christmas. The staff was so sweet and kind to our family. The food in the hotel restaurant was amazing . I would also give them 5 stars. I also love that this hotel is pet friendly. My 10 yr old Boxer also accompanied me on this trip and she was at ease in the room as well. I would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family. I hope to return soon.
