I wasn't quite sure what to expect from this hotel, but ended up finding it a lovely place to stay. The room was comfortable and had a very nice view over the city. The facilities are deliberately basic (no tv, for example), but it was comfortable and had enough space. The breakfast buffet is extensive and has tables again with a lovely view. The hotel itself is less than a 15 minute walk to the old town through a nice residential area. There was also free parking. I would definitely stay here again.

Very pleasant property in a lovely garden. Very quiet, modern and comfortable. Nice breakfast and very friendly staff. Well located and not too pricy.

Great place in great location, friendly and efficient service, amazing breakfast buffet. Super quiet and excellent quality/price ratio. Tiny room but very comfortable, and I enjoyed the views on the wood at the back.

Great stay overall. Spacious, modern, great buffet breakfast, excellent location overlooking the city; ideal base for hikes in the park and the city centre. Plenty of add-on services that we really did not use, but may be useful for future stays. Spotless clean.

Everything was fine. No complaints. Very friendly and supporting personnel. Good breakfast also. Yes, the hotel is not in the center. But in 5 min walk there is a good park. Then in 5 min walk is already the old town and minster. So, for me it was a pleasure to stay here.

Best place in Freiburg if you plan to spend a couple of days there. Close to the tourist center, the place has excellent services with access to nature with forest right next to it.
