A clean room with relatively modest bathroom. The staff is very polite and speaks great English. Great place to stay if you're on business trip around Freiburg.
Located next to Penny (a supermarket) and has several restaurants nearby.
Easily accessible by train from city center, which also reachable by 30 minutes walk.

Very accommodating staff!!! We have been coming to this hotel for more than a year and always have only good impressions. Own parking, and although the hotel is small, the breakfasts are good. A little far from the center, but the price is optimal for Freiburg. Near the tram stop, after three stops and you are in the center. There is a highlight in the location of the hotel, it is a large park with a lake, where in warm weather, you can enjoy nature. My wife and I come to this city twice a year (our friend lives here) and we always strive to book a room in this hotel and do not regret it!

Comfortable if rather sparse rooms. No fridge, lift, safe or tea/coffee making facilities. However, it was very quiet, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Pleasant breakfast, with reasonable choice, though service and table clearance was poor when it was busy. Convenient for local shops - including two mini supermarkets and a bakers - and trams to city centre. Parking is a little restricted with not many spaces available. There is an excellent value and good quality Italian restaurant next door if you don't want to drag into town for dinner. I'd be happy to stay at the Bischofslinde again.

Imagine an area with good connections to the city centre , blocks of flats and lovely little shops. Discover that one "block of flats" is actually Hotel Bischofslinde with it's own little gate and parking. The rooms are nice and tidy and the shower is cosy and big with wide doors. We had breakfast there three times and each time it was always topped up and we had really good coffee served with it. All 4 reception staff were lovely but our first one had the best English knowledge and humour as well. He explained everything about the town and how to get around and made sure that we will have a good time there (a very tall guy). We had 3 nights there and the only thing we could fault was the lack of aircon/fan in our room. However we had a nice balcony and shutters on the door and a window to keep the room dark and relatively cool. This hotel is quite unusual but definitely worth a visit. As for evening meal options the restaurant next door is very good one and worth a try

This was one of the best value hotels I have stayed in. Quiet residential location with regular tram service nearby to Freiburg centre, only about ten minutes away. One of the stops between is Freiburg rail and bus station. Ample variety breakfast in clean large room. Good Supermarket and Italian restaurant next door. Rooms very clean. All staff very courteous and helpful. Free internet at Reception with free mulled wine, chocolates and nuts during Christmas 2017. Champagne with New Year Breakfast. Reception not manned 24 hours but keys provided.
