AktiVital Hotel in Bad Griesbach

the hotel gives a good impression from the first look. Not very big, but big enough to have all necessary services like good restaurant, hot spring pool (Thermalbad), comfortable spa area with two saunas, one Finnish and one herbal.
I was there during football championship and the hotel has a nice outside area with TV screen, tables and drinks, kind of a small "Biergarten".

Location of the hotel is not central, though, but town centre is very near-by. For people like me, looking for hiking, nature and relax in the sauna I can only recommend this hotel.

I was pleasantly surprised by the area around Bad Griesbach. It features several good golf courses, plenty of hiking and biking trails. Particularly I was impressed by very well signposted hiking trails. I took a hiking map at the reception, which is also very well and clear. Also on the trails one can find clear signs. Due to the whole area being rather hilly, there are many excellent spots on the trails which offer great views on the entire area all the way to Bavarian Forest, which one can spot looking towards north-east direction.

all in all, I am thinking about going there again.

Rooms are currently being renovated. Lovely staff. Small but adequate pool. Delicious food in restaurant. Would be happy to return.

Lovely stay. Staff really friendly - nothing was too much for them. I booked a room at an internet cheap rate and got a full apartment. They are a pet friendly hotel and for a 10 euro surcharge, I was able to bring my dog along.

Stayed as overnight guest ... Friendly staff, good food quality ... WiFi Connection lost after 5 minutes ... THX

Essen, Personal war super. Internet löchrig, Pool etwas zu klein. Ansonsten tiptop.
