Morada Hotel Bad Wörishofen in Bad Worishofen

The hotel offers solid amenities, and the rooms are pleasantly spacious. However, there were no parking spaces available upon my arrival, so I had to search several streets for one – which was unfortunately a bit of a hassle. The breakfast is typical German standard, with a fairly good selection.

Pros:
- the waitress from the restaurant went above and beyond to help us. She deserves some promotion. At times she was all alone in the hotel taking care of the whole hotel (including the reception) and trying to help all the guests the best she could. You can see she really cares about people. - big rooms and in line with the price
- room had a balcony (although there are no dividers in the balcony, it's shared between the rooms so make sure you sleep with the balcony door closed)
- breakfast included (not very awesome though, just the basic and some things looked pretty old already)

Cons:
- we had to wait 1h for the receptionist to arrive in order to do the check in and get a room (this with a very impatient toddler who really needed a diaper change)
- the receptionist is very unfriendly and unprofessional. When we called saying we wanted to cancel our booking for free because we didn't want to wait anymore she actually replied "i don't understand what the problem is. You have to wait until I'm there". And then when she arrived (we waited a total of 1h 😱) she didn't even apologize for the waiting time (which we were initially told it would be only 15 minutes by the way 🤦). When we left she actually had the nerve to say that when people book last minute they should be willing to wait 🙈
- the hotel is severely understaffed (there were guests complaining that their towels hadn't been changed in 2 days)
- there is only 1 high chair in the restaurant which is reserved for one family (first come) for their entire stay which means that even if that family is not eating when you are, you still can't use the high chair.
- it's not the best hotel for families as the vast majority of the guests are older retired people and some really don't enjoy sharing a space with children. We actually had an old woman come to us at breakfast telling us we should try and entertain our toddler because he was being too loud (oh thank you so much, that's the answer, why didn't we think of that? What would we do without these childless people who know so much about parenting 😂😂😂)
