We had the pleasure of having Justin serving us in the mornings for breakfast.
As an Aussie, we love a "flat white" coffee.
Justin had only heard of it, but nothing was too much trouble, so with a little guidance he was able to produce a near perfect flat white coffee for me. The next morning it was already prepared for me upon arrival.
I saw Justin treat all at breakfast with the same friendliness, care and attention to detail.
This one guy made our stay very memorable.

I was nice small hotel, at good location, breakfast was quality not quantity, especially egg was good. If there is chance to visit Augsburg, I will stay here.

Large room and bathroom. Great lighting in bathroom. Very clean. Elevator is small (typical of older European buildings) and there were six steps up in the hall to our room. Good location to the Christmas markets and train station.

Old school German business hotel circa 1970! Well maintained, helpful staff and good location. Nice breakfast. Rooms in good order and comfortable. Wifi worked well. Easy walk to train or 1 stop on streetcar. Solid choice.

The City Hotel Ost am Kö is conveniently located at the heart of the city. It is comfortable and has a great breakfast. The garage is on the next building but you pay at the hotel. Staff was great, super helpful in guiding us. There is a Market 200m from the hotel with great eateries and a biergarten. The only issue is that they close at 5 pm. Although there are plenty of restaurants in a 10 min walking, the hotel staff is helpful on recommendations.
