The staff is very friendly and welcoming (and speak much better English than I do German), the rooms are clean and spacious, and the breakfast is fantastic! The hotel is well located (just a short walk from downtown Fuessen), has its own underground parking garage and even has a gym and sauna

The perfect place to end our hike of the Lechweg. Restaurant and bar staff were super responsive to everything we wanted and made some great suggestions on drinks

Breakfast buffet exceeded expectations, which includes a variety of bread, eggs and bacon, cheese, cured meat, fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee and tea, etc. , much better than what you usually find in US hotels

It’s located at the outer edge of the town, about 5 minutes walk to the center, which to me is a plus because of the quietness it offers. Driving to parking lot 4 of the castles takes about 10 minutes

Our room is comfort room two twin beds; both the sleeping are and the bathroom are very clean and spacious. Having two twin beds works great for families with grown kids

I think this will be my go-to hotel if I ever visit Füssen again

We got assigned a suite on the 5th floor that was really spacious. There was even a sauna room, which we didn’t take advantage of. The elevator from the 4th floor to the 5th was old and needed attention

The hotel is a so big if you don’t walking too much you shouldn’t request faraway from elevator 😅 The staff so kind and nice to give you advice. This hotel have a good area not faraway from train and bus station

The location is wonderful! Right by the Bahnhof! The room came with a Füssen city pass for each guess, meaning you can take the local transportation for free for two days

We used the passes for visiting the Neuschwanstein castle (Bus #78), as well as leaving Füssen (as far as Kaufbeuren is free)

Love this place, stayed here for four nights have a magical view of the river and mountains. Staff really good too. Only thing is that the hotel dosent have a restaurant but old town is very near.

We arrived before midnight, 11:30 pm, because of our trip from the Netherlands to Italy. Very nice hotel and clean rooms. But most important: the hospitality is very, very nice

It was all just perfect. I had a wonderful room, the Service was great and every meal just delicious. The Spa area is just great and the massages very relaxing.

We rented the wine cellar for our large group and everything was incredible! The food was amazing- service impeccable and the chef even came to say hi to us! I cannot recommend this place enough for large groups :)

This is a great stay, enough bed space for family of 4 person. The room are warm during the night and bath room as well. We enjoyed the bath tub after a full day activity

Hotel was right in the city centre, room was cosy and Kid simply love it. Managed to catch snow in the walking street. Reception was warma and helpful. Accomodate our garage arrangment without prior information.

There are many restaurants to choose from, including Italian restaurants, Japanese restaurants and BBQ restaurants, which are very close to the hotel. The front desk guy is very nice:)

The room curtains only have one layer of screen, and the staff told me that this is the design of a new hotel. I can only say that Germans are more open-minded. There is no kettle in the room, and the bed is very soft

The food was excellent, but unfortunately the staff in the restaurant seemed overwhelmed with the shift work, and we found the dinners there to be rather uncomfortable feedings

Plenty of parking that early, maybe got there too early. The pool was heated with great views of the castles and the spa had a lot of quiet, cozy areas for rest. We saw a few other families there, mostly with older kids

This is an amazing property nestled in the valley below Neuschwanstein castle. It’s a few mins drive to the darling town of Fussen with quaint shops and nice restaurants. Everything about the hotel is incredible…

The atmosphere, the attention to detail, the staff, the food and the spa were excellent the first time. This time they were even better! The views of, and the walking in, the foothills of the Alps are tremendous

I highly recommend the hotel as a base for days visiting Neuschwanstein Linderhof, and Fussel. Unfortunately, our guide at Neuschwanstein was very robotic, but that was not the hotel's fault

We only visited for one night , we wish that we had stayed longer. From the moment we arrived we felt very welcome. Great location with views from every window. We had dinner which again, was excellent

The sauna, which should have been at 65°, was however not above 45/50° during our stay. Overall a nice and relaxing address. Ideally located for the most beautiful castles of Bavaria nearby

the evening catering is not exceptional but the service is top notch and brought the dishes to our room so that baby can sleep. Great breakfast with always this view

Abundant breakfast - long breakfast time. Hotel is located on top of a mountain, due to restricted mobility the car always had to be taken but it was not a problem for us. Room service was made on request

The room we had was getting a bit old and the green carpet in the hallway is no longer up-to-date. I think the price for the room is a bit too high. The swimming pool in the hotel is spacious and clean

We'd been out walking since 9am this morning so had worked up quite the appetite by the time we arrived at 5pm. It was rated 5th best restaurant in Füssen so we'd thought we'd give it a try

I opted to have the pork knuckle and my wife had the goulash, they came out very quickly so I didn't expect anything great however both were some of the best that we'd had on our trip

We were greeted by a very friendly member of staff who spoke very good English and shown to a table. Drinks were very well priced and the house beer was lovely

Also - I hope this was a result of covid measures and not their standard - I despise those little single wrap portions of shower gel, even more so when it's combined body wash / hair shampoo in one

The front desk was very kind and gave me a fussen pass. It's very helpful because you can use the bus for free and get discounts on some tourist attractions. The room is clean and comfortable

It's a bit of a walk from the station, but there's a river nearby, so it's a great location for a stroll. I wasn't feeling well so I couldn't use the sauna, but I'd like to try it next time

Large clean rooms many with balconies nicely located not too far from Fussen center and a good departure point for many interesting local hiking routes. Breakfast is very good. Bicycles available to rent.

It's about a 15-minute walk from the station, but the scenery along the way is beautiful, so it's not a problem. It's about 10 minutes from the center and the lake, so it's surprisingly convenient

We arrived and were able to sit and enjoy a fresh coffee in the restaurant, a wonderful break from our long car ride. The rooms both had balconies where we could see Neuschwanstein Castle across the lake

The hotel has a free parking lot, the surrounding environment of the town is very good, the waiters are very enthusiastic, and the dinner and breakfast are delicious. is the bed is a bit small.

We had a nice dinner downtown to cap off the evening, the restaurant was unremarkable. We woke the next morning and enjoyed a very good buffet at the hotel restaurant, included with our room

If I may suggest one thing, it would be to improve the lighting in the room,especially in the bathroom which felt a bit dark for my liking. The highlight was the restaurant and the food

Hotel Geiger’s excellent panoramic suite is overlooking the lake and mountains. It has a spacious seating area, bathroom and balcony. Free WiFi, varied breakfast buffet, wellness and good restaurant

Despite the beautiful nature, stunning views, and idyllic lakeside location, I would personally not choose this destination again. The hotel is charming but somewhat dated and does not have the needed air conditioning

He assured us that a gluten allergy would not be a problem and that we could simply mention it to the breakfast staff in the morning. However, when we did so at breakfast, the conversation was less straightforward

We were asked why this information had not been provided earlier. I had, in fact, already done so: a few days in advance, I had completed a questionnaire in which I clearly stated the gluten allergy

For some travellers, this might be a drawback, especially for those who enjoy relaxing outdoors in the cooler air after sunset

The room condition is good and I like that I can use the sauna. It's also good for walking around. It's about a 5-10 minute walk from Fussen Station, so it's within walking distance. The breakfast is also delicious.

Amazing!!! Great food and entertainment with walking distance to everything in downtown Fussen. Very clean and no reason to stay anywhere else ! The balcony peacefully overlooks a beautiful meadow.. this place is bliss

Parking is free and sauna only 3€/person. Great place to stay if you are in the area to visit the castle. They provide discounts to the tours!

A well tended trail started on a few meters from the end of the hotel property. For anyone wishing to avoid driving in Fussen, there is an easy walking path directly to the old town center

Rooms were fine, don't expect an American hotel here because you're NOT in America. Setting was calm and relaxing, great place to walk and relax after long days of touring

The surrounding scenery is beautiful, and you can see the waterfall within a 10-minute walk. The room was large, the bathroom was clean, and the breakfast was delicious

Travelled for a week through Bavaria, and this hotel was the highlight of the trip. The owner is very organized and sent detailed instructions to get our room, anytime we arrived

We got a room in the ground floor. The room is very nice and clean. Ground floor has no Lake view. They have a sauna in the basement that guest operate themselves. Small but totally does the job

We requested a room on the second floor with a mountain/lake view and it was breathtaking. The room was spacious and very comfortable, and the balcony was perfect for watching the sunset in the evening

The staff is fantastic, breakfast is included and is very good, and our room was very nice and big (the top center room on the third floor facing the mountains). Highly recommended to anyone traveling to the area

Large and clean room with fantastic location. Parking was easy the area is located in beautiful area next to the little late for a walk and jog. I would definitely stay here again when traveling to Germany

Family run, very nice Hotel located in Bad Faulenbach, the so-called "valley of the senses" of Füssen. Whoever is looking for rest and relaxation, is right here.

Kurhotel Jakob is situated in a lovely part of the town, it's a quick walk from the center & the host Mr. Jacob was very helpful with all our questions

I stayed for 2 nights with my sister and we found the hotel and surrounding area lovely! The location is great! Well within walking distance (10 minutes or less) to the city center and train station, it was also extremely easy to get to the immediate surrounding cities by bus

The hotel is located in a small town Füssen close (around 4 km) from the Neuschwanstein castle, on the side of a forest. The building of the hotel is like a mansion with a big garten

When you enter, you start to feel yourself like a baron. The whole mood of the place is majestic. The room we were in was tiny, but clean. There was no minibar, but a bottle of not expensive wine was prepared in the room
