The whole stay was amazing. The staff were friendly, the room I booked was spacious, and it had a beautiful view of the icy mountains. The sauna and gym were free of charge! 🤩

Oddly enough, there were no sockets at both side tables next to the beds, which means we could not charge our hand phones at our bedsides. Although, my friends in the next room reprted No such problems in their room

We requested 2 beds, got to the room and it had 1 bed. Went back to the desk, she went up to check on another room for us, and by the time she returned there was a tour group with room issues

The toilet was brightly lit and there was a hairdryer and vanity mirror. I must add though, that climbing in and out of the bathtub can be hazardous. Not sure if it's safe for old folks

To our delight, 2 sets of toiletries were provided for each room, specifically shower caps, cotton buds, body lotion and tissues. The shower was fitted with a body cum hair shampoo

My friends and I stayed here for 1 night. The rooms were HUGE! Toilets were HUGE! Cleanliness was up to standard

Just a few steps from the very center of Fussen, with supermarkets nearby. Parking is convenient and costs 9 euros for an overnight stay until check-out the next day. The cleanliness is okay.

Clean and Comfortable room with lots of lights. Very good breakfast. Luggage storage seems not very safe because anyone can go in the storage room without any permits. No one serves you.

Location was good, near the center of Fussen and ~7min from railway station. The breakfast was varied and delicious. The room was nice and clean.

Staying at this hotel while visiting Neuschwanstein Castle in Füssen was a great choice. The hotel is well-equipped, and the rooms are spacious, basically having everything you need except for disposable toiletries

The location is great. We can reach shops and the main street easily. Easy to access to take bus to different castles.

It was all just perfect. I had a wonderful room, the Service was great and every meal just delicious. The Spa area is just great and the massages very relaxing.

We rented the wine cellar for our large group and everything was incredible! The food was amazing- service impeccable and the chef even came to say hi to us! I cannot recommend this place enough for large groups :)

The hotel facilities are beautiful, the location is perfect for hiking and sightseeing in the local area (which we did entirely on foot and by bus and train - definitely no need for a car), and the staff are friendly, helpful, and very considerate

We arrived and were able to sit and enjoy a fresh coffee in the restaurant, a wonderful break from our long car ride. The rooms both had balconies where we could see Neuschwanstein Castle across the lake

The hotel has a free parking lot, the surrounding environment of the town is very good, the waiters are very enthusiastic, and the dinner and breakfast are delicious. is the bed is a bit small.

We had a nice dinner downtown to cap off the evening, the restaurant was unremarkable. We woke the next morning and enjoyed a very good buffet at the hotel restaurant, included with our room

They also provide bathrobes and towels for the free sauna, which was a nice touch. Our room was very spacious, with a small living room and bedroom. The highlight was the long balcony with a peaceful view

We asked for a kettle, and she kindly provided us with cups and tea bags. Even when we accidentally broke a cup, she handled it very kindly. We are truly sorry and very thankful for the hospitality

We really wished we could stay longer! Breakfast was a nice European selection with good variety. On-site parking is €5, which is reasonable, but it would be even better if it was free for guests

I am very satisfied with the breakfast. A variety of fruits, bread, sausages, and various juices are available, and you can enjoy your meal while looking at the lakeside.

I booked a room after not being able to book in one hotel. Going to the other hotel was a great substitute. Beautiful short drive.

The location is perfect — the ski pistes are just a stone's throw away, Austria is right around the corner, and the famous Neuschwanstein Castle is also nearby

Other downsides: there is no bicycle rental, the climb up from the village to the hotel is very steep, and the bar is closed on Sundays

In August 2025, we stayed for three nights at this hotel with our family. In total, we had booked three rooms for ten people, including an eight-year-old girl with a gluten allergy

Hotel Geiger’s excellent panoramic suite is overlooking the lake and mountains. It has a spacious seating area, bathroom and balcony. Free WiFi, varied breakfast buffet, wellness and good restaurant

The front desk was very helpful and informative. The rooms were nice and comfy. The attached restaurant was very good too. Very small bathroom and shower but the location was perfect.

As another reviewer said, this hotel is a gem. It was not particularly fancy, but we found it to be very comfortable and very clean. The breakfast buffet was also fantastic

I opted to have the pork knuckle and my wife had the goulash, they came out very quickly so I didn't expect anything great however both were some of the best that we'd had on our trip

We had dealings with two different people at reception. Both were extremely friendly and helpful. They both gave us great recommendations on things to do and places to eat

Finally, the location could not be better - a five-minute walk from the train station, and easily walkable to all the restaurants of the Altstadt. We would happily stay here again

It's a bit of a walk from the station, but there's a river nearby, so it's a great location for a stroll. I wasn't feeling well so I couldn't use the sauna, but I'd like to try it next time

Large clean rooms many with balconies nicely located not too far from Fussen center and a good departure point for many interesting local hiking routes. Breakfast is very good. Bicycles available to rent.

The hotel is really good. It's at a very good peaceful location with a good view. It also close to the water stream and the market is also at a walkable distance.

This is a beautiful hotel tucked away behind the city. Speaking with the hotel staff that easily spoke English they explained the incredible history of the hotel

We got a room in the ground floor. The room is very nice and clean. Ground floor has no Lake view. They have a sauna in the basement that guest operate themselves. Small but totally does the job

We requested a room on the second floor with a mountain/lake view and it was breathtaking. The room was spacious and very comfortable, and the balcony was perfect for watching the sunset in the evening

Large and clean room with fantastic location. Parking was easy the area is located in beautiful area next to the little late for a walk and jog. I would definitely stay here again when traveling to Germany

Family run, very nice Hotel located in Bad Faulenbach, the so-called "valley of the senses" of Füssen. Whoever is looking for rest and relaxation, is right here.

Kurhotel Jakob is situated in a lovely part of the town, it's a quick walk from the center & the host Mr. Jacob was very helpful with all our questions

The availability of amenities -- opening the sauana and pool one hour before checkout when they close at 9pm (depsite restaurants being open past that nearby) -- was quite disappointing

When you enter, you start to feel yourself like a baron. The whole mood of the place is majestic. The room we were in was tiny, but clean. There was no minibar, but a bottle of not expensive wine was prepared in the room

I loved my stay at Villa Toscana! The room was romantic and beautiful. The location feels quiet and out of the hustle and bustle of the city but is an easy walk to the town, shops, restaurants, and train station

Perfect place to stay if you are thinking about going sight seeing to the castles. Breakfast service is absolutely delicious and their wine bar has a pretty large menu with some beer as well

The hotel is located in a small town Füssen close (around 4 km) from the Neuschwanstein castle, on the side of a forest. The building of the hotel is like a mansion with a big garten

He was so cheerful and friendly to talk with us about anything he knew about the town. As he saw us wearing FFP2 masks, he reminded us that the requirement of FFP2 masks had already been lifted a couple of days

We stayed at Boutique Hotel Das Rübezahl for a weekend, and the experience was fantastic. The hotel is in a stunning location, right across from Neuschwanstein Castle, which creates an incredible atmosphere
