We enjoyed our stay in Landshut. Reception attendance was very helpful and friendly. Particularly the lady in the "dark suit". We stayed in one of suites. At €200 I think a bit pricey for Landshut. What we didnt like at all was the restaurant, price quality is not right. Service was plain bad the night we dined here. Most people were having dinner outside. We dined inside and felt abandoned at times. We dined elsewhere the other nights.

It is a beautiful and spacious place. The rooms are fantastic and roomy, all new appearance. The restaurant is wonderful. Location is right in center of town. Highly recommend staying there. Staff is super friendly and helpful.

We haven’t stayed at the hotel, but we’ve dined at the restaurant several times – and every single time it’s been absolutely outstanding. The food is beautifully presented, smells amazing, and tastes even better. Every dish we tried was clearly made with care and attention to detail. It’s truly one of the best dining spots in Landshut, and we can’t recommend it enough!

The location is great, rooms are fine, but our experience in this hotel was spoiled by rude receprionist(s). The two at the reception should be sent to an intensive 'how-to-treat guests' course!

A great hotel in excellent location. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable bedrooms. .
Only slight criticism is that breakfasts can get very repetitive as not much variety if you staying for more than a few days.

Paid $320 euro for a room that was tiny with no air conditioning. If you have any choice, do not stay here. A complete rip-off!

Loved everything about the hotel!!! Limited parking and no air conditioning, however, the rooms were totally worth it and the breakfast was amazing! So close to everything you need in a beautiful town!

Right in the middle of town, the Golden Sun is a fine place to stay in the highly recommended Landshut.

The Good: Friendly staff Close to local restaurants and bars Rooms of a decent size The Bad: No air-conditioning Although double-glazed, the hotel fronts on to a noisy cobbled road which, on a hot evening, creates a trade off between uncomfortable heat or open windows and a noisy night. Reception is not manned after 1830, which for a four-star hotel, is unacceptable. Bar and restaurants not open on a Sunday or Monday evening. The average: Breakfast could be more varied and substantial

Had an absolutely lovely stay while visiting family. Modern, well appointed, extremely comfortable room. Perfect location to explore the city. Excellent staff!
