This hotel is highly recommended. Good location and good service. We arrived at the hotel at 10:30 pm, after the front desk had already closed. However, the check‑in process had been perfectly arranged in advance. We simply followed the instructions in the message, picked up our room key, and entered the room smoothly. We truly appreciate the thoughtful preparation and hospitality.

The location is excellent, 100 meters from the ancient city wall and about 500 meters from the city center. The breakfast selection is plentiful and varied. Free parking is available in the back. The toilets and showers are separate and clean.

The hotel is very conveniently located just outside the city centre area. Easy walk for 10 minutes to Market Plaza and city centre area. The room size is good for a couple. The room was clean and fresh. Has Aircon which is not common in Germany. It was a blessing in the summer of June where temperatures are closer to 25 to 30 C.
Breakfast has good spread of breads and cold cuts. The restaurant is spacious and service was good.
One big plus for this Hotel is that they have free parking onsite.
Overall Hotel is good if you are looking for good experience at a not very expensive price

The location is very convenient, only a five-minute walk from the entrance to the old city.
The hotel is clean, the room is decent, stayed for one night, and was generally satisfied.
The breakfast is pretty good in Germany.

I had such a great experience here! The rooms are spacious and clean. The bathrooms are huge and modern. The food is also pretty good. The best part about this hotel is that the location is amazing. The town is so cute and there are so many shops you can stop by. There's also a night watchman tour that explains the history of the town. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here!

Excellent location with great access to the old town. Clean rooms with impeccable service. The breakfast buffet has a great selection and is capable of servicing anyone. I highly recommend.

Nice hotel in a historic remodeled building, with very friendly staff at the reception. Super clean, comfortable beds and small but functional and cozy bathroom. The location is unbeatable near the gates of the old city. Breakfast is wonderful with lot of options and everything yummy. A great weekend getaway!

It's about 600 meters away from the station, so it's a bit tough for a train trip with a suitcase.
The hotel looks really nice, but the rooms are average, or rather, smaller than I expected, and there's no air conditioning or refrigerator! (European hotels sometimes don't have refrigerators, but this was my first experience of a four-star luxury hotel without one.)
Sightseeing is not a problem as the Gal Gate is close by. In fact, it might be better to enter from the Leder Gate, as you can see the local shops.
The breakfast variety and taste are average, but the Schweinebraden at the restaurant was delicious.
