Parkhotel in Traunstein

Area is in central "walking zone" beside a tree lined park. Paid Parking on street; hotel offers some private parking at expense (becoming common in Germany). Breakfast included, which is becoming less common in Germany. Easy walking to central shopping and restaurants. Room was nicely furnished and clean. Old style stately hotel with high ceilings. Restaurant and bar appear well appointed.

Really enjoy staying there. They do need more lighting in the hallways and rooms especially using the keys they have.

Lovely stay
We had a beautiful large and comfortable room with nice views. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great.
The mattress was not firm enough for my taste but ok. The hotel is a little bit worn in some areas but we had reasonable room rates. The location is great for walking to town and trains.

Excellent hotel with a terrific restaurant. The food was great, especially the soup and main course. The service was ideal and the overall stay was good for the one night I stayed.

Went to Traunstein with my wife and ended up on this charming hotel. No problem accommodating the late arrival, room was clean but a bit long in the tooth, a good breakfast rounded off the impromptu visit. Decor in common areas is charming but the rooms would benefit from a facelift. Breakfast was served in time, the buffet was a good assortment, coffee was an automat but of the better kind. Some feedback to the hotel would be to reconsider the logistics around the juice press, I didn’t perceive it as logical.

The hotel is great! In prime location for shops and restaurants. The room was large and very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was buffet style with eggs and bacon along with plenty of fresh veggies and fruit. Absolutely loved the juice bar , you can squeeze your own juice if desired. Also a nice coffee bar Will definitely stay again.

Perfect Stay in the Heart of Bavaria!

I recently stayed at this cozy city hotel and was absolutely delighted! It’s a small, but very atmospheric hotel that fully captures the spirit of Bavaria. From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home — the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to help and provide tips on what to see in the area.

The rooms are spacious, bright, and very clean, with a wonderful view of the charming old streets of the town. I must especially highlight the breakfasts — they were a true culinary delight! There was a wide selection of fresh local products, including pastries and traditional Bavarian delicacies. A real treat for food lovers.

The hotel is also located in the very center, making it an ideal starting point for exploring the town. All the main attractions are within walking distance, and the picturesque surroundings are just a short drive away.

All in all, if you’re looking for a peaceful, comfortable, and welcoming hotel in the heart of Bavaria — this is the perfect choice! I will definitely be coming back here again.
