Stayed here for a conference/vacation in Munich. Check in was easy and they stored our luggage for us when we were too early to check in. Our room was comfortable and stayed cool with just the fan (no ac). As others mentioned there is no elevator, but this wasn’t a problem for us. We loved the proximity to tram and underground stations, as well as being across from the English garden. It’s also nice to have the restaurant downstairs- the daily breakfast was well stocked and we enjoyed sitting there for a drink at night.

Been there for Adele’ concert, very clean hotel and very nice service. But there is no air conditioner in the room, a little bit too hot, try to open the windows but too much noise.

Find somewhere else! 1)no elevator, not friendly to seniors and kids.
2) the room is not clean. Brown spots here and there on upholstery chairs. The toilet is yellowish.
3) the stand shower is clogged, water running wildly.
4)no coffee/tea bag, no kettle in room. No lounge for coffee or tea.
5) the room temperature is set and cannot be adjusted by the guest. The furniture is old and not enough room for hanging suits.
6) poor management. My company booked a room for me. The second night, my wife came, I informed the front desk, got no more accommodation like pillows/beddings/towels. But they still changed €40 when I check out. Compare to the Hilton is about €100 in the city, this place is €200. Not worth the price.
7) the dust in the room made my wife allergic all the time.
The cafe downstairs is okay, but the hotel is terrible. Not at least recommendation.

Good hotel, located in a strategic point if you are moving by public transport, a few tens of meters from the subway entrance and a tram stop, even by walk you can reach the center in 15/20 minutes.The property is in an old building so don't expect luxury comforts or modern furnishings.Good breakfast and good restaurant.Friendly staff.Funny the system of opening and closing the doors of the rooms, at the reception during check in they do a small course 😀😀.Overall a good hotel

A great and cool place to get some rest away from the city of Munich. Very easily accessible via U-bahn.

Extremely expensive for the accommodation offered.
Old place where you can hear everything from your neighbours. Not even a desk to work, the dressing have a very strong bad smell, wifi is unstable, and the shower was leaking…

Location of the hotel is good, breakfast area is comfortable. But rooms are small and without temperature adjustment switches. There are no elevators so this might be difficult for older folks.

I used to stay at the Ritzi all the time in 1999/2000. I recently came back for a short stay and was glad to find it still there, under new management. The rooms are still wonderful, each with a different theme - choose your adventure for beach theme to Africa. The restaurant/bar is a shadow of its former self when the hip and famous of Bogenhausen used to party there. The upside is that it's a lot quieter!

After walking past here numerous times, I finally decided to take a trip in here and honestly the decor and everything seems nicer from the outside. At night time the place probably looks very nice, however the place seems a bit run down in bright lighting conditions.
