The hotel Wilmina impressed us with its incredibly friendly and attentive staff, outstanding service, and impeccable cleanliness. The design is exceptionally stylish, creating a unique and relaxing atmosphere throughout the property. The rooftop terrace is a real highlight – perfect for unwinding. We felt completely taken care of and would absolutely come back. Highly recommended!

Very unexpected find!
Loved the overall atmosphere, from room to restaurant where we had dinner.
Super helpful and polite staff.
The only minor, the gym. Very very basic.

A beautiful and luxurious hotel in a quiet part of town, but well connected by public transport. The room was clean, spacious and well appointed, with a nice view over a peaceful courtyard. The building (an ex women's' prison) has been sensitively converted, keeping interesting features. The bar was cosy if somewhat dimly lit, didn't use the restaurant but the breakfast was copious and with healthy options. Staff were helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay there again.

What a treat! The room, the sauna, the lounge area, gym, the bed, the Wilmina bakery next door (and their staff) the loyalty bar….. the pool! (Will definately freshen you up in winter - wonderful). Staff. Almost best of all is the tranquility, the beautiful design and colour scheme. An absolute oasis in the city. My Berlin favourite from now on…

Do not believe the positive reviews. I have stayed at over 100 different hotels and by far this was the worst experience. You can pay 350 euros to sleep in a jail cell at Wilmina "hostel" or save the 350 euros and commit a petty crime and get free stay in berlin jail. I could here other guest every movement no sound barrier in this place. I arrived 9:30 pm and checked out 4:30 am and the refused refund for the second, so i paid $700 euros for 7 hours very uncomfortable stay. I was planning to visit Berlin for a week, but after this treatment i got on train back to amsterdam.

We checked in and were told breakfast was included with our room. At checkout I was suprised to be given a bill for breakfast every morning we stayed. I let them know we were told breakfast was included, was basically told no it wasn’t. Cab was waiting so I paid and ran to the airport. Also the cozy room was claustrophobic small!

My experience at this hotel was truly memorable. It was a truly wonderful hotel with a quiet space, a special lounge, a great location, and attention to detail in the renovation. To be honest, I was prepared for it to be a renovated prison, but it was a truly wonderful hotel. The breakfast also had the same items as those served in the bakery, and I went to buy some on my last day. I would like to stay here again.

The hotel is in a good location, on Kant Street, a converted women's prison. The hotel has a Michelin-recommended restaurant and a good bar. The rooms are small, but the location is good. The decoration is very modern and the renovation is good. The red brick building is well renovated. You may consider staying here in the future.
