Wil7 Boutique Hotel in Berlin

Very dangerous! DO NOT STAY HERE! First if all, the new staff were great. However, I feel compelled to warn about this "boutique hotel". First of all, it isn't a hotel at all..no lobby, no phones or working television in the rooms. The reception desk closes at 6pm After that, you're on your own. Now, about the dangers. A very sketchy neighborhood with abandoned buildings and homeless encampment. Inside the room, there is a 24 inch step up to get in the shower onto very slick tile floor. No grab bar or anything to prevent falls from the slick floor. The water is dangerously hot. God forbid there is an emergency, FIRE,etc. The doors are extremely heavy, and you must unlock THREE doors with a key to get outside. In a panic, surely a potentially fatal situation. The room was large but sparse. Bed was comfortable. 17 inch tv had no signal, and no one to call. Again, this is an old apartment building, not a "boutique hotel". The courtyard is overgrown and unkempt. The paint is cracked and peeling, etc. Again, the new staff were great, but they can't fix the infrastructure. Don't be fooled by nice photos and descriptions.
