The worst Hostel I have ever seen. There are many homeless and alcoholic people in this hostel. It is very dirty especially the kitchen. I have booked for more than a week, but I had to leave the hostel after just two days due to the bad condition of the Hostel. One of the guests was an alcoholic homeless who threatened me and abused me verbally. I complained by the hostel's manager, but unfortunately he didn't do anything about it. I wish I could give less than one star for this hostel. It should receive (minus 10 stars).

I have been to many hostels in my life, in many countries but this is by far the worst experience I ever had. I really wonder how this place is not shut down by some authority. I booked 5 nights and only stayed one.
In the mixed room I stayed at least three of the guys were homeless people with mental problems, one was crying all night, one was shouting every one hour or so and the other entered and left the room around 50 times in the night. The other two were normal, just watching videos on their phone on max volume.

The cleanliness of this place is not even to be talked about, the toilets looked worse than a bar at Saturday night.

At least it has a kitchen, I had said to myself. Well it is unusable. Everything is dirty and even if you clean it yourself you have to share the room with homeless people. I was just trying to cook on omelette and two guys were already drinking beer, one girl was crying begging some other guy to pay her one more night and some other dude was sleeping in the sofa. Too much drama for 8 o clock on a Monday morning if you ask me.
I never write a review for anything and I wouldn't have written this one but I keep seeing this place gets good ,obviously fake reviews and it pissed me off.

Never choose this hotel if you have alternative options. Berlin has way better stuffs to offer at similar prices.

It is directly opposite to a park full of homeless people, who typically like to come and visit the rooms and the kitchen and bring whatever things they like as the doors are open. The rooms are smelly, the bed is smelly, the toilets smell like toilets, tables stick to your arms. The caretaker is obviously familiar with thefts and would rather not support with finding the suspicious person who took the gift

Personally, it’s a shame as a Berliner to offer you guys tourists such a place. I strongly suggest the manager to improve security, switch to e-locks that lock doors automatically, and clean the facilities little bit more. Lol

The first 1-star review of my life is given to this hostel. Will definitely check the Google review before I book another hostel.

I recently stayed at this hostel, and it was a surprisingly pleasant experience contrary to some online reviews I had come across. The hostel's central location is its biggest advantage, being within a 5 to 10-minute walk to multiple metro stations, making it convenient for exploring the city.

The apartment was quite spacious, with a large living room, a well-equipped kitchen with basic amenities, and a bathroom. The room I stayed in was on the third floor. There was no elevator in the apartment. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. I also appreciated the prompt response when I requested an iron.

However, the property did have its drawbacks. The most significant issue was the heating system, which didn't seem to function effectively, leaving the rooms quite cold.

Despite the negative comments I had seen online, my personal experience was positive. The hostel offers great value for money, given its location and the size of the accommodations.

The private apartments here are excellent for a low cost family stay. Great location, clean and secure.

YES it is budget accommodation, there is not lift, the rooms are a little old, but its a perfect location and comfortable place to stay. We had not problems with safety/ security

I’ve been really embittered for the dirt I found in this hostel. The sheets were full of stains and the common bathrooms were pretty runned down. I couldn’t even be able to lock the bathroom door. Moreover the fee I spent is really high for how I’ve been treated.

Perfect location in Prenzlauer Berg, good basic hostel (with dorms and apartments) and a kitchen. Staff has been running this for over 20 years and will gladly help with any questions you night have.

Pretty grim place and definitely cast a shadow over our whole trip. Staff pretty miserable, rooms did not appear to get cleaned the whole time we were there. WiFi didn't work in our room and not enough wall sockets for people to all charge their phones overnight - mine was unplugged by some random man in the night while I was asleep. Bathrooms smelled bad and mould in the showers which also had terrible water pressure. Not the fault of the place but also shared with a gross guy who snored like a dirty warthog - the kind of people this place attracts I guess. If you want to enjoy your trip to Berlin please do not come here.

This hostel is located in a nice and hipstery neighborhood but next to a park full of junkies. The owner of the hostel/ receptionist is not friendly at all eventhough we tried. The rooms are dirty, smelly and the matrasses and pillows are straight picked up from the street. The kitchen and common room are not cosy to meet other people and nobody used it as well. It's a cheap hostel but there are other cheap hostels in Berlin that offer more quality. The only good thing about this hostel was Sham ( the voluntary intern) who was open for a conversation.
