Room was comfortable and had really great insulation as the hotel is next to the train line. When the window is open it is very loud.
Was great for a business trip. For private use I might choose a different location :) lot of smelly streets and homeless people live around there.
Also, some rooms are louder than others, due to the train tracks in front of the windows.
- Small, cramped room w/ minimal surface/Table area to work with, probably typical in a city.
- Strange art on wall, kind of creepy, and right above the bed. See picture.
- Bathroom has half-shower door. Why the H do hotel designers think half-shower door is cool? It is NOT! Water gets on the floor, and cold draft comes into your hot shower. Suks!;
- Bathroom Door auto swings closed causing steam build-up, must prop it open to get ventilation and clear the steam;
- Bathroom has Small, weirdly place bar to hang hand towel, below sink, risk of falling onto floor;
- AC is turned off by maintenance - must open windows & hear road & train noise - if you want some cool air or ventilation;
- No liners in trash cans which is highly disgusting!
- One English channel out of a huge list of German channels - inconsiderate!
Even though it is close to the rail station the rooms are totally quiet and great insulated.
The breakfast is really delicious and for 16,90€ it is worth trying it.
I can totally recommend this accomodation.
