Down Town Motel in Berlin

It's about as American as you can get in Germany. The burgers are amazing and we love the ice cream school bus in the summer. Their homemade cheese dip is really really good, orange and goopy as cheese dip should be. They have county music playing so you can enjoy your food without worrying about Ed Sheeran coming on. Don't expect cups full of ice or traditional USA free soda refills though or big cups of dips, that part is still German. Highly recommend!

Excellent food, great service and nice outdoors seating for the summer. We had ribs and the vegan burger option. Both were really good.

I recently stayed at the motel and ate at the diner and I wish I could give Down Town Garage more than 5 stars! I am from the U.S. and the Down Town Garage is very authentic and reminded me of being at home! The food at the diner was delicious. I had the mozzarella sticks and nachos, both were so tasty and were brought to my table quickly. The bartender also makes great drinks- you have to try the Mai Tai! The service as the diner was speedy, friendly, and welcoming. I was able to get a table without a wait. And you can tell the staff really enjoys working there! As for the motel- wow! I stayed for 2 nights in the "Las Vegas" room and the service was spectacular. Not only was the room stunningly decorated but the bed was so comfortable and I had everything I needed for my stay- towels, shampoo, etc. Just like at the diner, the service was worth 5/5 stars and the wonderful people at Down Town Garage went above and beyond to make me feel welcome during my stay. I will definitely be returning to both the diner and the motel and I recommend everyone do the same!

Clean, friendly and accommodating, the room was certainly a little getting used to, but lovingly thought-out and, therefore, also tastefully and not cheesy. Food and drinks at the Diner.

Great find! Motel, ice cream. Drinks and American menu (also German food too!) - oh and American Cars! V8s galore and a working garage - car lovers' heaven!

On the occasion of the Triathlon Berlin XL at the Müggelsee, I checked in with my wife in the Down Town Motel, Country rooms was for 3 days, the kit incl. The bathroom were beautiful and super clean, we liked the small fridge, small Seating area with a kettle, you could prepare a super Breakfast, what was on the day of the competition, comfortably, in the adjoining American Diner you could enjoy from 10 am for Breakfast, or burgers of all kinds, for car lovers, there was to admire on the site is also abundant, the kindness of the Boss, then set the i-point, we come back.
