Inexpensive accomodations in Germany

The place is very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is located right next to a underground station which makes visiting any central location very easy.

The Hotel is not straight in the best area. Pretty loud outside. Rather old, but... Very good price-to-calorie ratio. Chargeable Wi-Fi is not, however, been desolate these days... fortunately, I need it ;)

First I liked the fact that the hotel was very near the metro but I did not like that I had to pay for wifi but generally it was a pleasant stay with friendly hotel staff!

The quality of the food was very good and it tasted delicious. The waiting time and for food and drinks was unfortunately a little longer due to the lack of staff, but this was made up for by the extreme friendliness

So far we have been there twice: Dinner with 4 people - everyone was very satisfied with the food and drinks. Breakfast with 2 people - we had a very rich breakfast / brunch, designated for 2 - 3 people at a price of 29

Very nicely presented! The eye eats too ;-) A fourth person would have been fed up with it, but there were only two of us. Perhaps this breakfast should be reduced in quantity and therefore also in price

There were lots of thoughtful little touches throughout the property, including candy in the lobby, popcorn & at the bar. We could have stayed forever! Thank you Lennart and Carmen for making us feel so welcome!

Gengenbach is a lovely small town only eight minutes on the train from Offenburg. Reichsstadt Hotel and Restaurant is in the middle of town and only a short walk from the station

I wish I could give it 10 stars! We had originally planned to visit Gengenbach for a day trip from Strasbourg but after a very disappointing stay in Strasbourg, we checked out of our planned 4 night stay there after 1 night and made a reservation for 2 rooms at the Die Reichsstadt for that same night

We asked (but didn't expect) to have rooms close to each other to be near our children. We were then invited into the beautiful garden for a welcome drink. What a thoughtful touch! The amenities were comprehensive

Laundry service was fast & worth every Euro! Garden & pool areas were beautiful. Breakfast was amazing! Unfortunately, we didn't have time to take advantage of the spa area or available bicycles

We booked a three night half board package and really enjoyed our stay. We were allocated a large apartment above their Cocotte restaurant which was very comfortable

Nice rooms, but the location and outside of the hotel make it feel cheap and unsafe. It's still under construction and in the middle of nowhere, and the balconies are inexistent

More of Motel than a hotel but the rooms are beautiful and contain a big fridge and a cooking space including pans. Als the shower has a very nice rain shower. Would recommend.

Perfect with automated pin-code system with no staff! This means you park 1 meter away from your room door. Big fridge with freezer as well, perfect for road trips! Really recommend this place

Only downside is that the room got really hot and no air circulation/AC. Even with the window cracked all day it was still bad air and hard to sleep in. 5 stars if it isn't hot outside, 4 stars in summer

Also no AC which can get quite hot and you can't leave the window open at night because people can just walk into your room from the street

Centrally located, we walked to the old town in a short time. The breakfast has everything you need. The service is exceptionally friendly. The rooms are adequately equipped. The bathroom is well furnished and spacious

They are very hospitable, positive and allways with a smile on their face. Rooms are decent, cleaned dayly. Each room has 42” TV with cable TV. The WI-FI internet is fast and available everywhere arround the hotel

Good hotel, but you have to know that there is no staff on site. You check in via keybox and you can order breakfast next door in the cafe. For us that was fine.

The hotel is conveniently located near Trier city center – we took bus number 1, which goes directly there in no time, because we wanted to taste different kind of Mosel wine 🍷 and we could leave the 🚘 at the hotel

A welcome break in a long trip. This is our second visit to Tonino. Big room and big bed. Excellent shower in the bathroom. Breakfast was great. Dinner the night before was also delicious. Attentive team looks after you.

The room was beautiful, with very comfortable bed, quiet and we slept peacefully. In the morning, a wonderful Italian woman made us a delicious large breakfast and helped us order a taxi back to the train

Traveled for work and stayed for 2 weeks here. Great place, very kind and friendly staff, rooms cleaned almost daily, excelent food. Will return here if i will get to work again in the area.

We are so lucky to have found this beautiful guesthouse. We arrived in town very late and Constantine was so kind to collect us from the train with a warm welcome

Good dining experience, good food and a variety of music. Our first server was very friendly and made some jokes, although it was a bit too much at some point

Nice hostel, I stayed in a room to myself. The room didn’t have towels but they were available to lease with a cash-only deposit-along with hair blower. Location was far away from food places and Berlin in general

They provided a late check-in which was super convenient. The room was quite cosy and the bed could be small for a huge person (bunk-bed in a 4 person dormitory). For me, it was perfect for a few hours of sleep

It is exactly what you can expect for the price! A place to sleep after a day of being a tourist or en route through Europe. The breakfast was a big bonus, which was unexpected and quite nice

Hotel is placed not close to the center, but near the park. So you can enjoy with walking. Our room was little cold, but it's normal for right now (regarding with high gas price). Do we had toilet and shower outside it

Stopped by for some refreshments while touring the city, the owner was extremely pleasant to talk to and generous with the portions. Planning to stay overnight at this hotel if/when in the area again

I stayed here long term from 2002 to 2003 with my colleagues. It was one of the greatest experiences of my life staying in Bamberg at such a wonderful place as the Buger Hof

It's less comfortable, but less expensive. All was clean and works as it have to. My opinion: hotel is best for summer time and for those who'd like to walk a lot

Friendly welcome in a new, modern house. We spend more stays in Oldenburg and know inexpensive hotels. When it comes to cleanliness, they could learn a lot from the youth hostel

A friendly and modern space to meet friends and family. Fresh food and drinks for a fair price. Adults, teens and kids can really feel at home here.

And if the car cannot be parked directly at the youth hostel, there is a large parking lot in the immediate vicinity for a small fee of € 3

We had a great time here with a group of 120 people. The rooms are nice and the food is great (even though the line can get very long)

Only visited the beer garden. Had some food. Expected nothing. Got the world 🌎. What an amazing vegetable fry with cashews and a light sauce. Having no reason to be here I might be back for the service and the food.

We ended up in the Biergarten for our diner. It is a cosy place and perfect when it is a sunny day, like we had. The personnel is friendly and helpful. It is a good place to stop on your way to your destination

Bread delivery is available, though grocery store bread is better. The kids loved the pool and spent several days swimming. We also tried the skating, which was fun but costs extra

One thing to keep in mind is that if you don’t plan to use the resort activities, there isn’t much else to do nearby without driving about an hour

Nice house (lucky to be at the entrance so no stairs) and close to the swimming pool. Long drives for some tourist entertainment. But we should have looked into it ourselves in advance

Landal Salztal Paradies in Bad Sachsa is a fantastic family-friendly getaway in the Harz region. The houses are spacious and comfortable. It has a great water park, and has easy access to scenic hiking trails

YES it is budget accommodation, there is not lift, the rooms are a little old, but its a perfect location and comfortable place to stay. We had not problems with safety/ security

The most significant issue was the heating system, which didn't seem to function effectively, leaving the rooms quite cold. Despite the negative comments I had seen online, my personal experience was positive

The apartment was quite spacious, with a large living room, a well-equipped kitchen with basic amenities, and a bathroom. The room I stayed in was on the third floor. There was no elevator in the apartment

It was our first time at this hotel and we felt at ease straight away. The special thing about this hotel is the great organic breakfast in the morning. From bread rolls to butter, sausage and jam, everything is organic

The location of the hotel is great, only 1-2 minutes walk from Lake Constance. There is a very nice little pastry shop directly opposite the hotel. The rooms are kept simple, neat and clean

My friend and I arrived at the hotel. There was a small vase with a sweet William in the room. The room had a vintage feel, the mattress was comfortable, and everything was clean and well-maintained

There were no fried eggs; perhaps the previous owner had stayed at a different hotel. Freshly cooked eggs were available every day. The Bernhard family and all the staff are very polite and helpful

The hotel is located a 10-minute walk from the central train station on a quiet street. The breakfast was delicious and the room was spacious. An iron and ironing board were provided upon request. Everything was perfect.

I understand with cheap flights etc that you can't cancel a booking but my hotel room booking was not cheap, but was at regular price. I even phoned to explain my situation but was told to refer to the booking conditions

Overall my stay was alright, room’s clean and staff was quite friendly, however, the toilet smells like cigarettes although the room clearly says no smoking, I’m not sure about whether it’s coming from the ventilation fan or something else, but throughout my stay there’s always the smell of the cigarette in the toilet

Better than I thought, clean and large room(s), it's a little bit to warm, friendly people (we had a problem with the parking and they helped us), there is free tea and coffee in the lobby.

Quadruple room for a family of four was perfect size and space to relax and not feel cramped. Bathrooms are modern and clean.

I stayed on the 3rd floor, my room was bigger than my friends room at the 1st floor, but smaller than my friends on the 2nd floor. Lacks a good lobby with a sofa

Sweet little Board ; rooms are simple but very lovingly set up everything , clean, good mattresses. 10 minutes in the inner city with the tram (directly in front of the door). Breakfast is reasonably good and priced

We had booked in the Villa Romantika 3 Nights and were extremely satisfied. The staff and the owner were extremely nice. The rooms were cozy and clean. The Breakfast was delicious and very rich
