It's really a pleasant experience living there. The staff are friendly, and room super clean, the decor is interesting and beautiful. Walking out of the hotel you can see the beautiful view of Heidelberg, the streets and the castle. Will recommend living there :)

Amazing location and such a warm place to stay, Cleanliness is clearly a top priority here!
The location couldn’t be better: the old town and the castle are right outside the door, and you can even see Heidelberg Castle just by looking up. It’s about a ten-minute walk uphill to the castle and less than ten minutes to the bridge. There’s also a bus stop downstairs with a direct connection to the main train station.
I truly love this place. It’s my first choice in Germany, and honestly, I would come back to Heidelberg just to stay here again.
The owner and staff are incredibly kind and welcoming, and everything is spotlessly clean. The guests are friendly, respectful and quiet, which makes it easy to meet people while still feeling relaxed.
Every bed has its own power socket, there’s a female-only bathroom and shower, fresh bed linen, lockers, a spacious kitchen and a cozy common room. I especially loved the photo wall, the guest book and the world map with pins. Free coffee and milk , hair dryer available.
The heating is great, the view outside the window is beautiful, and there’s even a small balcony garden. In the cold German winter, this place truly warmed my heart. It’s honestly my favorite hostel. I really hope to come back!

This is really the best hostel I’ve ever stayed! They provide oats, cereal, milk, oat milk for you to eat. The bedrooms are clean and quiet. The staffs are really friendly. I also meet lots of interesting people. I’m really grateful for my stays here.

The accessibility is excellent, right in front of the bustling street. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. However, the room was a bit cold, like a military training camp. Also, it's important to note that the bathroom and shower are outside the room.

Among all the hostels I stayed at during my 40-day trip across Europe, this one truly stood out. The front desk staff were incredibly kind and delightful. Even though I had booked a mixed-gender dorm and hadn't made any specific requests, they thoughtfully moved me to a female-only dorm. This made my memories of Heidelberg truly wonderful.

Hands down, this was the best hostel I've stayed at in Europe. While the facilities were excellent, the staff's incredible kindness truly made this place special. I arrived early after a night train, intending just to drop off my luggage, but was immediately met with a warm welcome. They even prepared a spot for me to rest well before the official check-in time, which was incredibly thoughtful and much-needed. The facilities are top-notch; they offer complimentary cereal, coffee, and tea in the kitchen. The location is also unbeatable, right at the foot of Heidelberg Castle, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. I would absolutely choose this hostel again on my next visit. Highly recommended! ☺️

The location is fantastic, right next to the funicular station for Heidelberg Castle. The room was spacious, very clean, and decorated to feel really cozy. It truly felt like a home away from home.

For female guests, I'd recommend opting for the female-only dorm. Unfortunately, during my stay in a mixed dorm, I couldn't get any sleep at all because of extremely loud snoring. When I reported this to the staff upon waking, they provided me with earplugs. I strongly advise future guests to bring their own eye mask and earplugs, as the beds in the mixed dorm do not have blackout curtains. On the positive side, the location is excellent, being very close to the castle.
